Oh V its soooo nice to "see" you online again. I think about you all the time and ask the Lord to send prayers your way constantly... I'm so glad to hear that things are getting settled in your new place, remember its not the size of the place but how much love you can put into it. I know it will be great! Especially since its so close to your new job!! I wish I had that commute. I think the Spygirls will be fine (except for those pesky cats) as long as you continue to care for them and love them so much as you do already.

About Tessa, as much as it hurt you did the absolute the Best thing for her. I know she is with her daddy again and will never ever leave his side. I am sure you can feel the warmth of their love in every single day that passes and that they are also always by your side.

LOL !! thank you !! and man - the computer was easy - it was my phones I was cussing out and forget about tv the 1st few nights - I rigged some kind of antenna and got ONE channel lol - but I'm fixed now.....I'm not too crazy about DSL that's for sure after having cable for years

I did want to say - I'm NOT STRONG ! I really appreciate the replies but you guys are seeing the positive stuff only - I really did sink into a big hole ...I have never been so tired in my life....actually ...I'm drained....

I tell myself each day - this is IT now - but it's really lonely and I only did what I HAD to do...I feel lucky in some ways because I know people go thru far worse things each day :( .... but I wish I could get back to 'my old' self again. I remember this feeling well and I would get so frustrated and snap my fingers to say ... " Okay, I have had enough and I want this feeling to end... it's time!" , but unfortunately grief has it's own time, but V, I have noticed your smile return and how you are spreading it around and helping everyone else to smile also. thank you for asking :) :) they're doing SO much better !! I'm really proud :) :thumbup: they don't have that burning need to bark at every single person they see now that we've been here a week and 3 days and really love their walks now - The biggest kick I get is watching those happy little butts running ahead of me checking out every smell. I found out Chanel is quite the puller so I have to watch what she wears when we're outside and make sure it's tough enough to hold her on her leash...

We've met some neighbors and they all said it's a really nice place to live & one of us even have a friend in common - so I now know 3 people here ! I was feeling really lonely but it helps to meet some people. I love how I set up the apartment and there aren't the 'memories' of the house to get me sad everytime I look around....I brought only our 'living room' furniture from the house that was hardly ever used so it's like having all new stuff. Everything is in Mauve - Silver - black - and pale blue.

AND .....no more accidents in the house (crossing my fingers) YAY !!

I set up astroturf on the back patio for the early morning and late night 'bathroom trips' & it's working out well. I think we're going to be ok. I really do.:)

Work is going really well - I worked 10 hour days all week to make up for the day I missed moving but the girls seemed to do ok - but still bark at the outside noises occasionally especially doors slamming -

apartment people REALLY like to slam their doors don't they ?:eek:

They do! Isn't that odd? That was the first thing I noticed when I moved to an apartment. Think it could be the echo of the long halls or lack of insulation?

LOL !! this place doesn't have halls - I'm on a courtyard - and the walls are
9" thick so I don't 'hear' neighbors - just the outside noises - mainly those DOORS...and so far that's the one thing that's causing them to bark. maybe in time they'll get used to it - the other night we thought it was my own door slamming ...it was THAT loud LOL

thanks you all - Things are better each day - We just had a nice 'walkie' and the girls are doing SO freaking good about not barking at peopl, I can't believe it. (using the dog whisperer 'noise') - We even jogged this morning.:eek:

ok - it was only for 30 seconds but it WAS jogging ! Can we say - a SPORTS BRA is now on my shopping list ???

They loved it - we're practicing commands (sit - stay - run - walk) - I love it when they look up at me like - "Did we do it right mom" ???

I've been playing "catch up" as I've been away from YT for TOO long! First of all, I'm so very sorry to read of the loss of your husband. Last time I was on the board, he was sick and we had even emailed about medical "stuff" (don't know if you remember that or not - but doesn't matter:) ). Losing a loved one is never, ever easy! Wasn't when I lost my dad 23 years ago and it was especially hard having lost my oldest sister VERY suddenly last month. Please accept my deepest, sincerest sympathy on the loss of your husband.

And I'm glad to read that you and the girls seem to be settling in to your new place! Adjustments and changes are always hard but ya'll will make it. The three of you are very strong and will take care of each other.

I look forward to being back on the board more and renewing the friendship I shared with you and the others here.
