Hi V I don't know you personally, but I have read some of your posts and know that you have been through alot Finally with your move behind you it seems that you are now ready to start fresh. A new place, be it an apartment, house, or whatever, can be such a fun time and I hope you and the girls enjoy making the apartment "yours". ((((HUGS to you for all you've been through)))) I also want to send you (((hugs)))) for your loss of Tessa. I had to make that same difficult decision with our Alfie last November, but as hard as it was, I knew it was time. You did the right thing, but you know that I'm sure. |

How exciting that you are finally settled in your new apartment. Moving can be difficult and so exhausting. There have been so many changes within the past year for you and you've made it through. You're such a strong woman. I admire you. So sorry to hear about Tess. She's with her daddy now watching over you and the girls. That's a beautiful picture of you and Tessa. It brought tears to my eyes. |

Thanks Jen....Linda (fufu) is going to put her on her Rainbow Bridge site and the apartment is already looking like a home - I worked pretty hard on it since Wednesday and this weekend am taking it easy - it was a hard road getting here and I'm not in any hurry to unpack every little box. I did get my art up and now am kicking myself for some of the stuff I had to sell - I wish I still had it - some of it would have looked so nice in this apartment :( the really good thing is there's 9" thick walls - I havent heard ONE neighbor yet :thumbup: :thumbup: (cept for the outside people) Good thing too - the girls feel they have to 'say' something over every little noise but are getting better each day the 1st night was hilarious - I never saw so many popping & turning heads :D poor babies ...we slept on the floor together and they were like little Jack in the Boxes with each sound. |
aww V I can just picture them looking up at every sound. :p They'll get used to it! I'm glad that you're getting settled and unpacked. Soon it will feel more and more like home! :) Now sit back, turn on the Superbowl, and prepare to see the Giants kick some NE bootay! :D :D :D |

Hi V, I've been thinking of your and your big move. Glad to hear that it's finally out of the way and you can try to relax a little. My heart did a little drop when I read about Tessa. My grandpa had a little poodle who was so attached to him that when he passed away, the poodle did too soon after. I'm so sorry that you had to make the decision you did but I know personally how very hard that was. It's so reassuring though to know that she is with Leonard, isn't it? That picture in my mind would make me feel so much better. Look forward to seeing you again sometime soon! |

Villette...you've had a really difficult year and I know this was a really hard move for you and the girls. It's so hard when life takes us in a different direction than we wanted. I'm very proud of you for making the best of things. You are alot stronger than you even realize. I know you're apartment feels like a million miles away from home, but someday you'll be able to feel at home here too. Changes are hard but I pray that sometime soon you'll feel at peace. I'm always here if you need me. I'm so sorry about Tessa. I didnt even know she has passed away...God Bless U Hugs to you!!! |

V Im glad to hear you and girls are all nicely settled into the new place! What a relief you must feel to have that behind you now! Now its ONWARD AND UPWARD!! (my personal motto I developed when my life crumbled a few years ago!) Im sorry to hear about Tessa also. If you want to talk anytime I can relate to you a bit. I lost my pup in the middle of my breakup from my ex-fiance of 10 years... it was the last 'blow' my heart could take at the time. Anyways, its amazing how things manage to somehow come together and work out in ways that different but mostly better than we originally pictured or imagined! :) ((HUGS)) you are one strong, brave, indepedant woman!!! |
