I just wanted to share my favorite pic that I've ever photographed with you (besides ones of my family and the furkids of course). It's Pittsburgh at night from Mt. Washington. Sometimes I'm just shocked that I took it... I love the city at night when the lights reflect off the water like that.

Oh, and I'd love to see some of your favorites as well! I love looking at pretty pics! :) Please!?!? :D

Oh, that IS really pretty!!! I love looking at scenic photos too. Since you asked, here are a couple that I cannot believe I took either! These are so pretty, it's in the Texas Hill Country.

That looks very cool! The bridge looks especially neat. It looks great- I can never get night-time photos to come out very well.

I have a few (OK- four).. The first two are of us scuba diving in Curacao (which I didn't take- there was a photographer), the third is of Britney at the beach (I love her expression. :D ), and the forth is of the castle at the Magic Kingdom in Disney World (at Christmas). :)

Oh those are lovely!!! I think you did a great job of using the trees as leading lines to draw your focus to the water. GREAT JOB!

well id ont' take many pictures that are NOT of layla but i just LOVE how the sun is hitting her in these two..

Here are some of my favorite photographs.

They are of the Washington Monument at dusk,
a lighthouse,
and the woods near my home.

MyLadies, those pictures you took of the river and the trees are SPECTACULAR!!!!

The secret to nighttime photos is to always use a tripod and a longer shutter speed. :) It really helps a lot.

What cool scuba pics! I especially like the second one. :)

Britney looks adorable! I love the windblown look. lol

The lights are gorgeous on the castle. My little sis got to go there recently and I just loved the pics of the castle. It's pretty impressive, isn't it? I can't imagine being there in person!

I think my favorite is the lighthouse! It's so crisp and clear and just beautiful colors and composition!

WOW that is beautiful. I have taken some amazing pictures but it was before I had a digital camera so i don't have them on here :( they are in frames in my office :)

You should take them to Walgreens and scan them in (if you don't have access to a home or office scanner). I'd love to see them and I'm sure everyone else would too! :)

ok...I will do that :) they are pretty neat :) there is one of a pond here at one of our parks. it has a tree that has grown kinda sideways into it...and I got a great shot of that.

then another of the sun rising over an old tobacco barn that is leaning over. pretty cool :D

How fun! Everyone has posted such beautiful pictures. Here is my favorite. I took it on Christmas at sunset in Costa Rica a couple of years ago. I have one I took in Crete of an old stairway, but I can't find it at the moment.

i love the colouring in your city scape!! ive always wanted to take night time city scape pics, but dont like to stay up late...:rolleyes:

i do a lot of nature...mostly flowers. im a little obsessed...these are all examples of my flowers, and one from a friends wedding that i was the photographer for.

great thread! i love seeing everyones pics!!!

Wow, those are all really great!!! You've inspired me. I'm going to go find some pics I took of flowers in Mexico and post them for you. :)
