So...has anyone with a BB piercing had a baby? If so, did you take your ring out, or keep it in? Can you even keep it in?

Love all the pics everyone! I do want to know...why do women pierce their BB's on the top, and it seems the guys pierce on the bottom? Is it just a preference thing, or is it like male/female piercings-kind of like the way shirts button on the left/right for mens/womens?

I just did mine on the bottom more as a preference thing and to be a little different (as if a belly button piercing on a boy isn't different enough :p).

I took mine out because it became uncomfortable for me. There are ways you can keep the hole open by using a ring instead of a barbell. But for me i found that my belly button stuck out at 4 months along and it was getting caught on everything from the counter tops to my steering wheel when i was getting in and out of my truck ( i have long legs so I am no where close to the steering wheel but it always hit it somehow) So I opted to take it out. I was told that they would peirce it again in the same hole for me as long as it closed well (meaning no infection or puss or anything like that). I had a little bit of what you would call hard puss i guess the first month but I really had to squeeze both ends to get it out and then my belly would hurt like hell. But I always fuss too. I always kept my peircing clean and even after it was out but my peircer said that the puss I had seen was normal because its the same kind you get when your peirce your ears and you dont wear earrings for a long time. I haven't had my peircing in for a year and 2 months now.. And i'm way to fat to get it redone at the moment. I think it would have to do with what you feel comfy with and if you can find a barbell or a solid ring that feels or works well for you.

For the pregnancy thing, I am almost positive you have to take it out but I haven't had any babies yet (other then Parker boy) And for getting it pierced in different spots it doesn't really matter I have seen girls/guys with it done 4 different ways in the bellybutton.

When I went in to get my peircing done I was never asked if I wanted top or bottom. Maybe they start out on the top and then work their way down. Thats the first male BB peircing i've ever seen.. LOL I first thought it was a woman.. Its late I'm tired so forgive me pls.. LOL

nice pics you guys, your all gorgeous. I love the BB piercings. Never saw one on a guy (unless you want to count the WWE Batista LOL, but he took his out. it was weird) but Kyle yours looks hot! I always wanted to get my eyebrow pierced but i hear those reject like crazy. And if my tum was as flat as nikki's i get my BB pierced too! LOL very hot

i put a small diamond i found on my lip to see what it will look like (but i know it wont be a diamond on the actual piercing lol)

The piercing isn\'t really my thing but as long as it doesn\'t leave a permanent big hole in case you change your mind later, and you really like it, then why not? I\'m 35 so I\'m not in the same demographic as you are so what I say doesn\'t matter anyway.:D
