My heart hurts My heart is hurting right now. I can just now type without shedding a tear or two (well I lied cause tears are rolling down my face as I type). I had to take my dear dear Frister (Friend/Sister) Patty58 to the airport this morning. She is safe and sound on the ground and is sharing uncountable amounts of hugs from her family --. I could write volumes but I won't -- not now anyway. Most of you reading this know that I was pretty banged up due to a 4-wheeler accident and have been pretty much confied to bed since November 26th. Patty has been so worried about me that she flew to Georgia to check up on me and to make sure that I was ok and in doing so she has given me my freedom. She allowed me to do things that overprotective hubby was so afraid to let me try -- because of Patty I can now wheel myself out of my house onto the wheelchair ramp, get into my car unassisted AND drive. Because of Patty, I learned that I can walk across a parking lot with the aid of a walker AND I can put gas in my car, standing on one leg like a stork. How can one ever thank or repay the love and patience of someone leaving their beloved family for a week to nurture a friend. Thank you, Frister, I love you! |

Oh Cindy I had no idea that you two were that close..how wonderful that is. Patty is a true friend indeed and I'm sure you both wish you lived closer.:( I bet Patty cried too when leaving you cause that's what good friends/sisters do. She truly was a big help to you as I can tell by your posts when she with with you. Now look..yay...you can wheel yourself around and drive....at least now you know you are on the mend. Oh Cindy Lu, you make me cry...and you know I don't cry:D You know the Lord led me there to help both of us. You make it sound like so much more than I really did. I just had to see with my own eyes that our dear Cindy was really ok.....(sometimes she fibs)...but I am so happy to report that she really is on the mend. We had a WONDERFUL visit and talked and talked and talked. I am so proud of the progress she has made and her strong will power to get back in the swing of things. You should see how she wheels that wheelchair around with her little babies running all around her. And she didn't tell you the wonderful things she made for Murfee. As Cindy said in her post...I could go on and on but I won't. Miss Cindy is a wonderful and talented lady....and I mean a real lady. |

Two hearts...united oh, Cindy, I am crying with you. Patty is a doll...I had the pleasure of meeting her on the YT train last summer. the both of you ladies are just wonderful. I am so glad that you 2 got together and I am sure it meant just as much to her to be there with you as it did for you. How incredibly sweet...and so inspiring to hear this. I am so happy you have found new freedoms..and that you have gained a new "frister". hugs to both of you. I need a tissue!!!!!!!!! (darned pregnancy hormones getting the best of me!!!!!!) :D |
