My 10,001 Post: A Note For YT!!
 
Post 10,000 went to Gypsy&Me and the soon to be arrival of her baby girl Amelia Grace :)

A Note to Members:

When I joined YorkieTalk years ago I was seeking information and what I found was a group of wonderful people who have become some of my greatest friends. I love what this community has come to mean to me and the support, guidance, laughs and tears mean more to me than you can ever imagine.

I truly understand that we all have differences of opinions, our own views about what is right or wrong, and an unwavering love of our babies. I also understand that sometimes it is very difficult to suppress these opinions and we speak out hastily. I, too, have wanted to say things at times that would have granted myself a suspension so I know how hard it is to just sit back and watch certain situations spiral out of control. I challenge all of us to really take a deep breath and think before we respond. I would really love to see YT the nice place it was when I joined.

Thank you all for everything you do for me and for each other.

What a sweet thread and a good reminder, too! :thumbup: I've enjoyed reading stories about your "monkeys". You're a great person (of course since all great people are named Kimberly ;) ) and YT is a better place with you as moderator! :)

Very nicely said.... I'm so glad I've gotten to know you. I love that you not only talk the talk, but you walk the walk with all you do for the rescue's. You set a wonderful example of what we dog lovers should strive to be.

Congrads on the 10k club....And yes it never hurts to hear it over and over for people to take deep breaths and think. We can type faster than we think sometimes. Or read it over before you press the send button. Great words from a wise source.

I so appreciate the service of all behind the scenes on YT -- it has allowed me to become a more informed pet owner & brought me many laughs & tears & allowed me the opportunity to see that I can find wonderful friends even if we never meet face-to-face.
