Ding! Round One - Izzy-Belle update :)
 
Well, Izzy-Belle had her first round of shots today. She did really well. She was very friendly to everyone and didn't try to hide or cower or anything. She let the vet assistant hold her and while she kept an eye on me and where I was, she didn't whine or cry. I was so impressed and proud of her!

She has also DOUBLED her weight since we brought her home. She weighed 13 ounces on her first visit (I think it was right around Dec. 4). Today she weighed in at 1lb 9oz! Her hair has also gotten thicker and longer. Her teeth are in good shape, her heart and lungs sounded good, she's had no problems at all.

She is a healthy little chunky monkey! :D

:good job: :congrats: I'm so happy to hear that she is doing so well. But it should be expected since she found the greatest home possible. You take such great care of ur babies its unbelievable. Yea Izzy-Belle:p

Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyy for busy Izzy!!!!!!!!!! So, how old is she again? Bc she may be quite a tiny adult. My Marcel, also small, does have a "thing" for chihuahuas - I'm not saying, I'm just sayin'.............. :D

According to the woman I got her from, Izzy was born "sometime in the middle of August". So she is approximately 21 weeks old. (assuming her birthday was around August 15th)

"Busy Izzy" definitely describes her! Omgosh she is always bouncing, running, playing, and getting into things.

She is a mommy's girl though (much to the Poopanut's dismay). Let something startle her and she can hightail it onto my chest so fast your head will spin! lol

This is my favorite picture of her to date. She just looks so cute and bright-eyed and adorable!

Even with the shirt on you can see how much weight she has gained. :D

Oh, I LOVE her!!!!:love: She's one adorable girl:) Glad all went well today at the vets, and good job putting that weight on her, Mommy!:thumbup:

Thanks everyone. She is so rotten she absolutely stinks! I just love her to pieces. I am really glad I decided to keep her. She has just been such a blessing! :wub:

I know! I went back and looked at them at few days ago and WOW! I am sooooo proud of her! She just looks amazing now! When I first brought her home you could see every bone in her body, now you can barely feel them! I'm not kidding when I say she is getting to be a chunky little monkey. :rolleyes:

I already posted, but now there's a PIC, so here I am again. LOVE her!!!! I just want to get in there and smush her up, and give her kisses, and squeeze her! She looks amazing - what a change from when you rescued her little Highness! :D

LOL! You should see her prance. Nose in the air, tail held high :rolleyes: cutest thing you ever saw. It is so funny because everything about her says BRAT, but she is so darn cute! And I am not one bit biased either lol :p

Mike was just talking about her lipstick today. He said she is "goth" because she's wearing black lipstick. I had to explain to him that goth is out of style, now it's called "Emo". :p

She is doing great. She still has a little bit of a knot on her neck from the shots (its gone down a LOT), but she isn't acting like its bothering her. She's been prancing/bouncing/playing as usual.

I am going to have to buy her some more clothes. She LOVES being dressed. I have never seen a little girl like wearing clothes as much as she does. :D

Aerrica!!! Oh my gosh, she looks FANTASTIC!!! You've done such an incredible job and taken such good care of her! You can tell she's totally happy with her lot in life now, LOL! And she looks ADORABLE in that little shirt (or whatever it is) she's got on in the picture! Just darling darling darling! Good job, doesn't it make you feel so good???

Thanks. It just amazes me to look at her now and then go back and look at pics when I first brought her home. She has come such a long way in such a short period of time.

I am just absolutely 100% head over heels in love with her little Highest Priestessest most-Elevated-Coveted Bosstess butt!
