| ![]() Well, I have tried it many ways and still don't think much of it. Didn't grow up eating it, so didn't develop a taste for it, I guess. I can handle it battered and fried, but can't manage it boiled. Ugh! |

| ![]() Ok all you okra lovers. I have found the ultimate Okra treat!! Vacuum fried okra ...yep the entire pod becomes crisp like a potato chip OMG it is heaven in two bites!!! see pic below. for those of you who live on the eastern side of the US you may have a Fresh Market grocery in your area!! If not you can order online. but warning you have to order a pound which is 10 bucks and it will take you forever to eat a pound!! I buy a quart sized container for 2 bucks at the store.
