Does anyone eat raw? I was watching something on tv about it and i think i may be interested...hmmmm That means no meat, no dairies, no cooked food? |
KathrynV does. I know she absolutely loves it. |
omg. I'd positively die! |
I tried it one time for awhile. I would love to have the self dicipline to do it. I don't know if its me being raised on southern comfort foods or what, but I just love warm food in my belly. I don't know if I ever could be 100% raw. A good site to check out is www.rawfoodtalk.com . Lots of advice, good recipes, etc. |
I'd need a lengthy list, because right now I can't think of raw foods other than fresh veggies and fruits. What else is there? |
fruits, veggies, and nuts... and thats pretty much it :D |
I'd last about one day on that diet - and only if I had a stomach virus. Sorry, but I like food too much to eat only raw. I congratulate those of you who can do it though :). |

I have several books on raw foods because I have been thinking of going that way myself. :) There is a raw version of just about anything you can imagine. I even have a recipe for a raw version of strawberry cheesecake. |
I saw on E last night they did THS on Diet Fads. Currently I am trying Atkins (again) but I don't want to do this for too long, and that RAW seems so healthy. I want to get some books though, because I would like to keep cheese and sushi (just the raw fish part) into this whole thing. I think this may be really interesting.... |
Kathryn was posting pictures of her food for a while. It did look a lot better and more complex than just veggies, fruit and nuts. I think you just have to really know what you're doing. |
I think it looks extremely interesting, but from just going Vegan myself -- I don't think at this point I'd be ready to take it up that other notch. It's been a challenge just staying away from dairy, and eggs, let alone none of it being cooked :). I think if you can do it though, that's wonderful! |
i'm pretty sure i would die if i did that. |

My bf and i bought the RAWVolution Book last year. We've given it a shot. Most of the food is very good. The reason I haven't done it as much as I would like, is it is all prep time for making the food. SInce you don't cook anything, I have no down time to do work in the evening while preparing dinner. I think I'll try again during the summer. We've also ordered a few ready made RAW packages. That was MUCH easier for me :) |
Wait, eat raw or in the raw? |
