Who is on YT insead of... getting ready for holiday festivities this morning?? I don't get to go home until tomorrow anyway, so I'm just hanging out at home waiting for the UPS man. I just noticed that there don't seem to be as many on YT today as usual. But I'm not surprised. Let's see, my to do list consists of: finishing my laundry cleaning the kitchen (with a broken dishwasher) :rolleyes: Wrapping another present waiting for UPS and USPS today maintaining my fishtank before leaving it for a few days bathing the pups, but they are napping right now and I don't want to bother them :p (my pups will sleep in til noon if you let them) eating all the delicious things we have around the house that will go bad while we are gone :D and I need to buy some beer that is made locally here to take home. The hard part is that I have to buy it unchilled because I don't want to haul a cooler all the way to KS. Guess I could just strap it to the roof of the car! I'm sure y'all have MUCH more to do than I do! OH! and I still need to pack! |
I'm on here instead of getting home and food ready for family get together tonight. I just found out instead of 6 we may be doing it at 4 cause dtr did not go to work today (she sprained her wrist). So time should be spent working. |
I'm here. Need to go get the rest of the food for tomorrow. My birth son and hs wife are coming tonight but we are just ordering in pizza. I deceided instead of stressing out I would just sit an do nothing for awhile!!!lol |

I'm here taking a quick break. My house is still a wreck and I havent' made the deserts or Chex mix yet. I have so much to do before 3 when the family comes, and I still have to give Slade a bath and take a shower (might just do it at the same time). Merry Christmas to all! |

I'm here! Just waiting around 'til my boyfriend gets off work :(. Later we're going to my mom's to hang out and eat, we're not doing much today or tomorrow, which is really different for me. |

Well...I don't want to be depressing but since it's my last holiday in my house ever:( ....I'm going to be sad... and then.....get it out of my system and go to my parents tommorrow with a SMILE on my face.... This week I put down an application fee & deposit on a new apartment and am keeping my fingers crossed I get approved - I won't know anything till after Christmas but this place will be 5 minutes from my new job and seems nice and quiet... As far as today though - I just can't leave the girls alone on Christmas Eve so tonight I'll be with them and pretend I'm with my husband - just that one more time in OUR house. |

We opened our presents on Saturday, the kids came home and it was really nice. The old homestead is quiet now so the main excitment is over. The pups are back to normal after company and it should be a very quiet evening for us. Another storm is moving in and the snow will be piling up again. The pups are so cute when they come in after playing in the snow (a total of maybe 5 minutes). |
Just checking while taking a break from cleaning, wrapping gifts, laundry and decorating......nothing like waiting until the last minute. My new niece will be here this afternoon for her first Christmas......to time is moving pretty slow today! Villette, You are in my thoughts and prayers today.....as holidays are hard enough, but with all you have been through these last few months you have your plate full......but you have proven to be a very strong person that can/will come though this....let yourself have some time for those memories! |
I'm done shopping and wrapping. The girls got a bath yesterday. Going to sisters house tomorrow so no prep for me :D ! I'm planning on doing my Annual Christmas Eve people watching! I love going to the mall on Christmas Eve and watching all the people buying last minute gifts... the look on some people's faces are classic! I'll be heading out in a few hours! so in the mean while, I here on YT! Merry Christmast from my family to all of yours! |

For the last two years I was travelling in tropical places for Christmas. It was great and I LOVED hanging out on the beach on Christmas day instead of stressing over presents, cooking etc... But I must admit, it feels pretty nice to be sitting on my couch with nothing to do. Especially since I am sitting here with my new puppy on my lap! |
