I know some young girls who have had babies at a young age and been absolutely amazing mothers, including my God Daughters mother who fell pregnant with her first at 14, she continued her education, works full time and puts her children first 100% of the time. Her children want for nothing, are polite, well behaved and do great at school. I wouldn't consider her irresponsible at all when I see how amazingly well she's coped and how wonderful her children are.

I also wouldn't consider myself or my boyfriend to be irresponsible for not being married before concieving our baby who is due in 3wks.

Give the girl a chance before shunning her.

It's great when kids from teen moms turned out great, but that doesn't make it responsible to have unprotected sex at 14 and get pregnant. Just my opinion, but if you have sex without protection at ANY age, it's irresponsible. Just my personal opinion. Everyone has different beliefs and value systems. Out of wedlock or teen pregnancies are not something I would condone personally but that's just me. I happen to believe in kids after marriage, but that's just how I was brought up. I hope you have a happy bouncing baby

I also had my daughter before my now husband got married. It's funny when people judge you when they don't know you.

I get a lot of judgement because i'm so young and i'm having my 2nd child. But i have a great career as a nurse same as my husband and we are providing the best we can to raise our children and that's the best you can do.

It's not something I condone either but people make mistakes... doesn't make them a bad person.

I wish her the best of luck, pregnancy is hard enough at any age let alone in the public eye. Brittany has made a lot of mistakes and I hope Jamie is sensible enough to see that and not follow the same lines.

I find alot of people to be judgemental about my age, even though I'm 25 I look young... sometimes asked for I.D for things that people under then age of 18 can't purchase! My BF is 22 and looks like a teen too which doesn't help the situation.

As you said, people don't know us and now I've learnt to turn a blind eye.
