We're Ready! The Completed Nursery!!!
 

It isn't actually a whole nursery :( but just as good, we just don't have an extra room for a nursery.

Okay so we're ready for the arrival of our baby! We really pushed it with time but we finally have everything, (well, aside from a few things that I need to pick up but nothing essential!).

Last week we went and bought the pram, (which is a stroller to you guys over there! :rolleyes: ) and I've been SOOOOO excited about getting it too. It's so nice and pretty and is sitting in our hallway right now alongside the car seat! :D So you can see just how nice it is I'll show you a link to it rather than taking a photo.

I was waiting on a crib, (I guess you would call it a cradle over there), to be delivered but at the place where the pram came from there was a nicer one and I really wanted that one instead! :D So now I have a lovely rocking one instead of a normal one!

We don't have enough space for a full size crib so that's why we have a small one. We don't have an extra bedroom and when you see the photos you'll see how pushed for space we are! :(

But, the room is finally done, everything is rearranged and everything FINALLY has a place and everything is in it's place! :D It took a week and the whole weekend was spent cleaning the flat right through!!!!

So, with 3 and a half weeks to go... we are finally ready!!!

FIRST SET

This is our room as it was last week... we got the changer but ended up with a load of stuff piled up ontop of it because I had a cabinet next to the bed on my side which we had to dismantle and then find somewhere to put all the clothes that were in those drawers... I've taken photos from all angles of the room except the wall with the window on just so you can see how small the room actually is...

Okay, here are the crib and the changing unit with the mat on and uncluttered!!! :D

And the whole effect of the room... oh, we've had all new things for our bed too! :D

Vicky it looks great. I love the Pooh stuff. That's what I had for my first son many, many years ago and my daughter had it for her first daughter. The cradle is so pretty. I always wanted one of those. We were in a one bedroom apartment when my first was born so I know how crowded you are. Aren't you just counting down the days? I am so excited for you.

Yep, that fuzzy one is great... you would not believe how much space it takes up at night though! lol :rolleyes: :D

Thanks Patty. I LOVE the Pooh stuff, I had it picked out before I knew if I was having a boy or a girl, I just fell in love with it. It's 100% organic too, I have the bathset and everything to match it.

I'm sooo glad the first cradle I picked out didn't get delivered when it should of done cuz as soon as I saw this one I knew it was meant for me. It was the LAST one in stock too!

Yes, we're counting down the days... I'm just praying she will let us get Christmas out of the way first so it won't be her first Christmas, I just love the idea of her being 11months old on her first Christmas rather than a few days! lol

I can finally be excited now we have everything... I can also be excited about Christmas too now without stressing about not having everything! :D

I agree with her staying inside until after Christmas. My bd. is 4 days before Christmas.....what a bummer:D

Everyone keeps asking me in stores if I've having a Christmas baby... I pull a face everytime and say I'm hoping not! LOL. They must think I'm mad when most people at this stage are excited and can't wait for their babies to decide to make an appearance! :rolleyes: I'm due the 10th of January but around the 20th would be perfect! lol :p :D

I so agree with you....take it from someone who knows.

Oh Vicky, that looks really great, and even in the pictures it feels so cozy. I know what you mean about having the baby after christmas so she'll be bigger when you will celebrate it next year. I hope Amelia is doing ok and keeps on growing.I can't wait to see pics of her...and I bet you can't wait to hold her in your arms.LOL
