What's your favorite Christmas Song
 
I love listening to Christmas music - I'm wondering what everyone's favorite Christmas song?

My favorite is: "Mary Did You Know?"
My favorite traditional song is: "Silent Night"
Favorite fun song: "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree"

I also love "Born to Be a Worshiper" - not sure it is just a Christmas song, but Jeannie Teeney (wife of Tommy Tenney - author of God Chaser, etc.) sings this on her Christmas CD - you can hear some of her music at http://www.godchasers.net/index.cfm/...068/index.html

I love: Christmas in Iowa by Mulberry Lane - but I know they have different versions for different states . I think it's really called-- "A Very Mulberry Christmas"

I just heard: "Christmas Shoes" & I started crying, why is that song so touching?

I like a lot of them but really like Mary did you know? also. My all time favorite is Do you hear what I hear. I have always loved it. My mom says it is not Christmas till she hears Gene Autry sing Rudolph the red nosed reindeer.

I have a ton of favorites but this one I heard last year just makes me cry. I just love it! It's by Reba McEntire and it's called the Christmas Letter. You have to listen to it. It's just beautiful at least I think so. :)

and My favorite 2 fun songs are "I wanna Hippopotomus for Christmas" and "Grandma got run over by a Reindeer"

Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree by Brenda Lee...All time fave, since I was a little kid!

I love the new Michael Buble "Let it Snow" CD too!

OMG i just love them all. I love Little Drummer boy, Jingle Bell Rock, All i want for Christmas(Mariah Carey), I'm dreaming of a white christmas, i saw mommy kissing santa clause, 12 days of cristmas, Alvin and the Chipmunks christmas songs, Oh come let us adore him, Do you hear what i hear, Let it snow, Rudolf, Rocking around the xmas tree, Santa clause is coming to town, i can go on, i looove xmas songs! And the spanish one i love El Camino de Belem, these little kids singing. Oh and Santa Baby!

Amy Grant's "Breath of Heaven"

I love that song at Christmas time. Our choir director at church always has me 'sign' it during the Christmas Holidays. It's got a really good story line.

Mary Did You Know? ...another favorite

Christmas Shoes ...Signed this about 2 yrs ago. Actually had a deaf woman sign it with our group, and had some youth from the group act it out. Really awesome!

And anything by Bing Crosby!!! (I wanted to grow up and marry him when I was a little girl. Can't believe he didn't wait for me...:( :( :( ) I think I just showed my age...:eek: :eek: :eek:

My FAVOURITE Christmas song EVER is Fairytale of New York by The Pogues and Kirsty MacColl. This is probably the most requested song on the radio stations at this time of year... In the past week I must of heard it over 100 times and I hardly ever listen to the radio at that! lol

I have one, my ALL time favorite CHRISTMAS song is........... SILVER BELLS:cheer: .fell in love with the song during a elementary school play :yay_jump: and one of my peers sang it.I will always love this song because of her.:hearts6:

I didn't know Marilyn Monroe did a version of that! I have the version done by Eartha Kitt, which I love, but I'd love to hear the one done my Marilyn Monroe.

I love "Christmastime is Here" from "a Charlie Brown CHristmas". My band, The Edith Jones Project (named after my yorkie, Edith) has a concert every year, and this is a crowd favorite. We also do "santa Baby" (we have an excellent vocalist), and many other holiday tunes. But "christmastime is Here" is always a favorite.

Ok, so we've been listening to Christmas music all week at work, and I must comment again, lol...

Celine Dion ANYTHING, but especially Christmas music drives me nuts. For some reason, her voice just GRATES on my nerves!

Dolly Parton Christmas songs crack me up!

Iowans-have you heard the "Christmas in Iowa" song? I heard it a couple times and I think it sounds so forced and cheesy!

The Christmas Shoes song makes me cry, every single time. I can't handle it, but I just can't change the channel either :(
