I am so sick of wrapping gifts!!!! I am probably not even half way done yet!!!!:mad: :mad: Has anyone been wrapping today?

Im gonna start wrapping tomorrow ust got back a little bit ago from getting the furbabys there stocking stuffers and some wrapping paper ,Bows and gift boxes ,i just cant belive how much i spent on wrapping paper gift boxes and bows,name tags it sure adds up real quick.

I was done since the day after thanksgiving for the most part:D I did all my shopping on line & the items left I picked them up the 1st week of DEC. I dont like leaving everything for the last minute b/c I have very little time. I wish you were near, I'll help!!!

It is amazing how expensive all the stuff is to wrap. If we were all smart we would buy it the day after Christmas. I use to do that but haven't in couple of years.
I use lots of bags which makes things lots easier.

I"m thinking about doing that next year wrapping paper is getting so expensive ,and it just gets riped up.

The Dollar Tree has wrapping paper!!:D They have all kinds of bows and bags too. Its awesome. I love that store!

I wrapped a few this morning..... and hubby is wrapping some tonight.... he said that he had somethings to wrap and wanted to know if I had anything else that needed wrapping..... so I put him to work! (he actually does a really good job..... makes the bows with wired ribbon and everything!!):thumbup:

What????? That is amazing that he wraps and does a good job!!! I got my DH to help me for awhile this afternoon but he wasn't doing too good so I fired him!! lol

I had to get on YT tonight because I am so wiped out from wrapping presents. Mostly for my brother, sister-in-law, niece & nephew. Then I had to find a box that it all fit in well, and take it to the post office. I spent almost $30 on shipping :eek: - wish we were all going to be together, but they will be with my sister-in-las family.

The strangest part for me is that this yr, for the first time ever in my life, I won't be home for Christmas. So I have to put all the gifts in a suitcase & wrap them when I get to my parents, using my mom's wrapping paper :p

Actually, I have so much paper at home, I always buy a couple rolls after Christmas when it's marked down at least 50%. And I'm a huge recycler - I use lots of gift bags & decorated boxes, so at home, I use so little paper.

Now I need to get off YT & do some baking before I can't move the rest of the nite

I was shopping all day but plan to wrap a few tonight. I LOVE wrapping. I enjoy tieing bows and making them look so pretty so you'll not have any compaints from me. :)

I wrapped about 1/3 of them yesterday, and 1/3 more today...I still need to get the other 1/3! :)

I too LOVE to wrap-if anyone needs help, I'm on the way! I'm Super Wrapping Suzy! (Can you see my cape and tights, lol!)

Man you ain't lying. I started two weeks ago. I have maybe two and a half hours left of wrapping. It seems that I always end up wrapping everyone's gifts. I have a ton of things in the basment that is left that needs wrapping. It's the stuff that my sister got the kids. I can't wait to be done. I am so frustrated and ready to be done....lol.

I was contemplating just putting it all under the tree xmas eve and not actually wrapping it....but that would be the grinch thing to do :D

next year I will have all my stuff delivered to your house so you can do the wrapping for me. I don't add bows...too much stuff to wrap and then to do all that stuff....lol. Plus with little kids they don't care a whit about the extra cute stuff....they just want it open fast so they can play with it...lol. My kids would make your heart hurt from all the good effort you put into it.

I have a friend that loves to wrap and she asked me to bring her my stuff. Couldn't pass that up, plus, she can keep it hidden from the kids.

I didn't buy as much as I normally do since I spent so much money in Aug out in FL on our family vacation...but I got to wrap the stuff my sister bought...lol.

My house is the automatic storage place for everyone's gifts.

LOL! That means you should be "investigating" and shaking the ones with your name on them!

A ton of places already has their paper and accessories 1/2 off. Joanne's fabrics is already 60% off....

Last night DH did the boys new bikes from you know who :)
WOW! They are so much easier now adays! I remember my dad strugeling to get the chain and chain guard on our bikes as kids, All these needed was the wheel, handelbars and the peddles! Oh - cant forget the training wheels on both! :)

Lol...while I don't mind getting things the biggest thrill for me is the giving and watching the kids open their stuff.

You and I both.....I cannot wait to watch the kids also cannot wait to watch my DH!!!!

You are so right! Some of my best memories are of my sons on Christmas morning when they were little.

We have no small children in the family now, so I'm praying for a grandbaby in 2008:)
