LOL i know what you mean but just the thought of going somewhere else for like 2 months is so exciting! If me and my bf could go and my babies omg that would be awesome! Maybe in the future..i dont mind them staying in my house, i would be like have fun, peace! :D | I happened upon this forum by chance. Sadly my little Yorkie, Sami, is no longer with us but it is fun to see all your photos - brings back happy memories of such a lovely, devoted little dog.
But, I was also interested in your discussion about home swapping as I just happen to run a home exchange agency from London! Craigslist is great for many things but, with home exchange (especially for first timers) it's better to look at sites specifically devoted to home exchange (like mine for instance) as this is where you will find many exchange offers all over the world and get lots of advice so that you won't be worried about having home exchange guests in your home at all by the time you do it. In fact, lots of home swappers are happy to look after each other's pets (v. useful if you are exchanging abroad) or to have you bring your pet with you (if exchanging in your own country). If you look at my site (I've been running it for 23 years), and check the listings, you will see which members are happy to look after pets and to have pets brought to their homes: http://www.homebase-hols.com
Maybe we could have a special section for Yorkie owners to swap with each other!? For now, I've got to get away from this site or I just might go out and buy another Yorkie!
Cheers! |
