A good trail mix with chex mix is chex mix, honey roasted -peanuts, plain M&Ms, and raisins. We made this this weekend

I love the cheddar cheese mix too!!!!

My kids and I always used to eat it while we played video games together. It brings back so many memories.....

My boyfriend left me for ten days on business last night. We work for the same company and are meeting for a second leg of business meetings in Miami in 10 days. We normally eat very healthy, but last night we decided to make a good, greasy goodbye dinner. We made a big Shepard's Pie with lots of ground beef, veggies, tons of mashed potatoes and smothered in homemade gravy. Yum!

I'll probably be eating pretty plain for the next ten days. I don't really cook as much when I'm alone. Usually just cereal, grilled cheese, and salads.

Ive never actually had Chew Mix lol I REALLY want some chocolate cake with ooey gooey frosting - I think ill buy it instead of making it lol

My daughter made chex mix last weekend - I stayed with her while our husbands were out of town and I COULDN'T STOP EATING IT EITHER!! :eek:

I almost made myself sick, I just could not stop!!! :mad:

That's why I can't make it and keep it here! :D

here is how to make


CHEX MIX PUPPY CHOW
9 cup Chex
1 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/4 cup butter
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 cup powdered sugar

Put cereal in large bowl. Melt chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over Chex cereal, put into a large plastic bag with powdered sugar and shake well to coat. Spread mixture evenly on wax paper and allow to cool

Kewl, I have enough cereal left to make that, Oh I have another craving now:D rice krispy treats sound good to;)

The recipe is on the back of one of the chex boxes (can't remember if it's the wheat, corn or rice chex box). It's SOO much better that the one you buy already made in the bag! I make batches and put them in cookie tins and give them as Christmas gifts to friends. They LOVE it! They want it every year! :rolleyes:
