My granddaughter's birthday is the 23rd. She came home on Christmas Eve. What a present! Since she's only three and doesn't know the exact day yet, we usually try to celebrate it about a week early. I love the name Tess! |
Oh yay! That means you can give me a heads up! lol |
Shana, Find out what is the Doctors policy for breaking your water early.I hate to see you waiting for two days. |
Oh Shana, I am sooo excited for you!!!! :cheer: I can't wait to see pictures of that little doll!! And WOW what a birthday!! LOL :D My cousin had TWINS (of course they are almost 15 now, lol) on Dec. 21st - so you can just imagine what it was like having TWINS with Birthday's 4 days before Christmas :p Mind you they are both TEENAGE GIRLS now....so I think it's even worse NOW that it was before LOL :p Anyway, big hugs to you and I can't wait to see lots and lots of little miss Tess pictures!!! |
How exciting:) . Hope it happens quickly. My 1st dtr was induced. The Dr. said within 6 hrs. It took 30 hrs, half of which were on the industrial strength of the PitDrip. After almost 30 hrs, the Dr. said about 9 more hrs, she "shot out" 15 min. after he said that. So, anything can happen. My 2nd. dtr, Krysten, was due in Feb. Xmas eve, I was getting ready for the big xmas day dinner and my water broke. Needless to say, Krysten was born Xmas day by C-section. She was in the Neo-natal critical/intensive care center in another city for 3 weeks. So my insurance, which was supposed to carry over my deductible for the year-didn't and about $27K later, we had a beautiful, fully recovered baby girl. The funny thing about being born on Xmas - when she was small, we never took her out xmas day. We would have a family b-day party xmas eve and she would have her regular b-day party in the summer. She thought she was super special because she was the only one that had a birthday that Santa would come to. She never realized what xmas was until she started school. After that, she figured out she was getting gipped. We always kept her b-day party as far away as possible from xmas. We let her pick when she wanted it after she got a little older. It worked great. Hugs and prayers for you and Tess(love the name). |

Shana, don't be discouraged but inducement might take a little while. You may just have Tess on MY birthday, December 28th! My third child was induced and it was a very hard 12 hours. My first two were born within 4 hours of getting to the hospital so really 6 hour labors with them...but everybody is different! I hope you breeze right on thru!!! Happy Baby Day!!! |
That's my birthday!!!! :):):) |
Yay that is so exciting!!! CONGRATS!. I can't wait to meet her (digitally..lol). Maybe your doc can induce you on the 20th or something, that way even if labor takes a day or two, he's not going on his vacation, and Tess will have been born before Christmas. I'm so excited for you!!! |
How exiting Shana ! Now we all know when and we can be on the lookout :D Praying for a fast Delivery ! |
Congratulations and best wishes. |
