Okay, I found the stickies ..... way cool.

But when I press the F12 key all I get is the volume.

your settings might be different than mine.
oops...i think it is called dashboard. go to that looking glass again and type in dashboard. you should be able to find it from there. but check your settings by going to that apple at the top left, go to system preferences, mouse and keyboard, and it should tell you what the different quick keys are for getting to the "dashboard"

the items on the dashboard are called widgets

I believe my " Widgets " may be in my " Dashboard". hmmmmm

It's ( at lease these few topics ) all so clear to me now.... LOL
Man, I have a lot to learn. You can just imagine what I will be doing with my free time. lol

yup that's where they are!

i have a dashboard icon on my toolbar so i just click on that and all the widgets come up.

I too am a RECENT new MAC user!!!! The first two weeks were sooooo bad for me!!! But now I would NEVER go back to a PC!!!!! I LOVE my MAC.
I bought the wireless mouse and it has the option to right click....this made a huge difference for me. I use the right click alot.

I just downloaded that too. since we were all talking about them, i went to see if any cool new ones were added.

So i have that, ipod, calculator, chia pet, dictionary, weather, istat pro, coupon courner, gas prices, x-mas countdown, and mac tips. plus lots more i downloaded but aren't currently using.

I also used the right click a lot and that is why I needed help to figure that one out. I bought two reference books today Max OS X Leopard for Dummies and the Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard by Maria Langer. I really needed help. LOL
