I switched to Mac this year too. Get the book "Macs for Dummies"... really helpful. Also, you can go in and re-assign the right mouse click to be stuff you are familiar with. Go to the thing that looks like a white lightswitch with an apple on it, then do Keyboard & Mouse, and it's in there somewhere to reassign the clicks. Hmmmm... or maybe not. LOL!!! See, I still don't know what I"m talking about. But I know we DID reassign that right mouse button...... hmmmmm....shoot. I gotta look before I talk. LOL!!! |

I have no problem with copy and paste, it's the gif that I have done so with that does not retain the animation aspect. I'm still working on it and it's irking me to no end. :( :( But, thank you so much for your suggestion... I also have the " Dummies " book and also find the book Mac OS X 10.5 Leoparard helpful too. |

are you running Leopard as your operating system? because Mail has a new feature that lets you do "stationary" not sure if that will suffice or not :( |

I thought if I kept at it that I would find a way to use it on my Mac, but I guess that is frowned upon and I can totally understand why. Please tell your husband that I appreciate his expertise and may call upon him again in the future, if he doesn't mind and In the mean time ... Okay, i'm back with YET another question. LOL My Macbook came with a trial version of Microsoft Office 2004 and it has since run out. They require an arm and a leg to download the full version of it ( 2004) and I won't have the Hard Copy in my possession. Does your husband think it would be advantageous to purchase the 2008 version for Mac/Vista, or would I be creating more problems than it would be worth? Thank you both SO much for all your help. It is invaluable to me and I so appreciate it ... |
