Welcome. Buddy, Nicloe (my granddaughter) and I put the tree up last weekend.
Hope you like it. Buddy chewed the lights off of it when he was a pup so
I had to turn it around. You can't see the blackout this way:p
Also, the Yorkie planter I bought, isn't it cute?

We're going to try to put up our tree today, but right now, it's outside airing out a bit just to be sure it's fresh.

I love your tree its so pretty. Your yorkie planter is cute to. I have one that is similar that I love that I got at china in Epcot. I love looking at christmas decorations

Ooohh, I love that planter Carol. Your tree looks lovely, it's so big and festive.
We put our tree up on Friday, and I had to put in on a table, as Coco & Coffee might eat the decorations or lights when we are out!!



V, I am so sorry you are not decorating for Christmas, but I do understand.
I hope your heart heals.

S'anah says to tell Buddy if he needs any help tearing up more lights, or just pulling the whole tree down to let her know! :rolleyes:

I know this year will be hard for you V. I remember it well. It's important
to really try and continue with the holidays. Put up a little tree on the
table and decorate it. Put on some holiday songs and sing, you'll be amazed
how you just get caught up with the spirit of things, at least for awhile.
Oh and don't forget the bows in the girls hair. Tra la la la la la la la la.
Wish I were closer I'd get you in the spirit of things. How about a hot
toddy?

Oh pretty, it snowed her last night and this morning so I'm in the spirit to some degree. Can you restring another set of lights to replace the blackout?




I usually go with my 'friend' to our trees together but he took his boss yesterday to get hers and ended up getting his too so I don't know how I'll get one now because I'm not talking to him. stupid boys. LOL

LOL, that brought back memories of a terrier rescue we had.
He was a great little guy. We got him on 11/1/87. We put the
tree up right before Christmas and my son came in to wake me up
and asked me not to be mad. I got up and the darn tree was laying
across the living room floor and most of the ornaments were chewed
right along with two nut cracker's I had been collecting over the years.
ALl the ornaments were home made which I aslo had been collecting over
the years. What a sad situation. If I didn't kill a dog that year I never
will. Teddy lived to be 16 and he was two when he did the destruction.

I bet S'anah and Buddy would have a blast tearing down the tree but
I don't think I could live through that situation again. I'll pass:D

Oh no! Your poor tree, ornaments, and nutcrackers! I can just picture a cute little terrier doing it too!

I know what you mean by if you didn't kill a dog...lol I always tell everyone that my Susanah is living proof that I could never hurt or mistreat an animal.

Carol, your Christmas tree is beautiful. :xmastree: I love your Yorkie planter. I have one of those ceramic Christmas Tree's also with holes in the tree for the bulbs. My mom made it in the 70's and I still have it and put it out every year. It's even more special to me now that she's passed away.

P.S. Buddy looks so...cute under your tree in the lst pic. :aimeeyork :xmastree:

Wow Im amazed at that tree, it's just beautiful!!! It looks like it came from one of those nice magazines that sell xmas trees and the likes! very fancy I like it! you did a great Job Carol! and love that yorkie planter is adorable!! :)

You have a lovely Christmas tree, and the yorkie planter is so cute. I remember my parents having a white ceramic tree in the early 70's I remember all the little lights. :xmastree:

LOVE it Carol :) I love the tall skinny trees... I have one too. that planter is adorable!
