Hey, I was interested in looking into having "International YorkieTalk Meetup 2008" t-shirts screenprinted for people and dogs, and getting a table together at the meetup. I asked Admin about using the word "yorkietalk" and apparently it's ok as long as I'm not making money. I would be willing to do it at cost, so I need to really get serious and get some quotes on how much it would be and then just get pre-orders. It would just be too expensive for me to do a bunch without knowing how many and sizes, don't you think?

Please give me your input:
1.Would you pre-order a shirt to be delivered to you at the meetup?

2. Any ideas on the artwork on it? I'm thinking a cute little cartoonish yorkie and paw prints. Any suggestions or artists welcome!

3. Would you be interested in doggie shirts? I found a supplier...I would have to order the shirts, then have them printed.

I will ask my friend. I think her friend has a shop that does t shirts.

), but as Misty said...we ran into moving issues. It's a long story that I don't want to go into on the meet-up thread, but to give you the summarized version...my DH and I rent our house from my in-laws. We just moved into their old house right before Christmas, but they ended up getting an offer to buy it, so we have to move out

and find somewhere else to rent. So...we've been dealing with that and spending time with the new puppy (Tanuki is doing SO well

), so I haven't had much time on the computer. I HAVE been checking the registration e-mail though, but we've only had 2 more people register - Sexiixtc (and her BF) and YorkieMom55 (and her DH).

Tiffany - I am so sorry I didn't say anything sooner, but one of our loved YT vendors approached me about a t-shirt for the meet-up in early December 2007. We've been communicating about it via e-mail, and the artwork is almost complete (actually...it's been complete for awhile now, but she's still perfecting the Yorkie on the shirt since I'm picky

). I don't know when she wants to reveal herself or the artwork, but I know she's already worked it out with her source to have the shirts made for a very reasonable price for each of us. I wasn't going to say anything until she was ready to post all the details, but I don't want you to waste any of your valuable time on it either, since it sounds like you're a real go-getter

! Again, sorry I didn't say something sooner. I should've at least posted a teaser so everyone knew what we had up our sleeve

Yay!! I'm just glad someone is doing it!! I think the doggie shirts is a great idea, so if she needs to know my supplier, I can hook her up. I tie dye for a hobby, so I have used these little doggie shirts before and they are nice! Although, if this is one of our loved vendors, she probably already has the hookup..hehe
