Ok, so I was laying in bed talking to Mike. I leaned my head back and....it got stuck! Yep, that's right, my head got stuck between the bars on the headboard of my bed.

I didn't think I was ever going to get it out. It took Mike 10 minutes to help me - 9 minutes to stop laughing and 1 minute to pull the bar enough that my head finally came out.

I'm ok. Just a bruised ego and my ear hurts a little (it bent funny and that's what caused my head to get stuck in the first place).

Only me. :rolleyes:

See the wider bar spacing in the pic above? That's where my head got stuck. :rolleyes:

What's even funnier is we were laying there talking about how we really need a new bed! How ironic is that?

You can bet if we do get a new one it will have a SOLID headboard. No more bars! LOL

glad you were able to get "UN" stuck ...
can you imagine what it would have been like if you were home alone?

BTW, that is why the new cribs have a narrower space between the bars ....

It is not really funny ... BTW, pretty headboard ....

That's what I was thinking too. What WOULD have had happened if I was alone? I can just imagine calling Mike at work and telling him he had to come home because my head was stuck.

*imagines firemen and policemen coming to pull her stuck her head out of bed*

I think I am going to drape a blanket ove it or prop some pillows up against it.

I think it IS funny (because I got unstuck), but I wouldn't want it to happen again.

LOL I can just imagine your head being stuck!!! LOL I think I would have laughed for 9 mins too, and prob peed my pants!! Glad you're alright!! :) I often stick my knee between bars and get it stuck :rolleyes:

LOL...that is so funny and seems like something that would happen to me! Thank goodness your hubby could get your head out and didn't have to call firemen in...or 911! Hahaha...thanks for the laugh! I hope your head is feeling okay!

It's 6am....I was barely awake until I read your post about getting your head stuck!!!!!!!!!! I am sorry ....I cannot help but laugh & laugh!!! I know it wasn't funny when it happened but I can just see your DH trying to get your head out!! This sounds like something that would happen to me!!! Thanks for the laugh!!!

But in my case we had to call in for help. and a hour later I was out!

I am laughing so hard right now! I'm glad you are ok and that Mike was there to save the day. Don't feel alone in the fact that only things like this happen to you. A few years ago we were fixing some things around our appartment and the lock on the bathroom was broken. Doug took the knob and lock off to fix before he went to work. I went into the bathroom and Bruiser came behind me and closed the door. I was locked in the bathroom with no way out. Luckily I had my cell on me and called Doug at work. But he couldn't leave for another six hours. I ended up having to call my boss who was right around the corner to come let me out. It was the most embarassing thing ever and everybody at work heard about it. I'm glad that I no longer work there so I only have to hear about it from Doug. LOL
