Early pregnancy question????? My first doc appt is 12/3 at approx 6 weeks. I have had the sore BB's, but I have also had a lower dull back ache. Is this normal to have? I am concerened about this. What were your early pregnancy symptoms? Thanks, Heather |
1 Attachment(s) I got the normal stomach cramps that you get when you're due to start your period. When I had my first Midwife appointment I asked her about it and she said that a lot say it's the egg attaching to the lining of your womb at 4wks, (which is what you would be now, correct?) and that causes the discomfort. I was getting the cramps and everything a couple of days after I had a negative test and a scan at the hospital showed that everything was fine and there was just a little egg there. |
The back ache is common, which is what I am now starting to get.. and If I was pregnant, still not sure, I am 4 weeks along. Have you joined a pregnancy forum? Theres a lot of threads and help that you can get from there!! |
I have theee worst back pain ever lol, like a pinched feeling in the back, throughout the whole pregnancy and it's killing me because tylenol will not help it. But i do know abdominal cramping is normal, even light spotting at the time you normally would have gotten your period, but anything that soaks a pad in an hour is not normal and should be treated and seen right away. I work at urgent care and i'm the OB nurse there so i always am asking the doctors i work with questions lol, i learn a lot as well :) |

I don't know if I can post this here or not, but I belong to an amazing parenting BB at mommiesnbabies.com All of the women there are very nice. And yes, those are very normal early pregnancy symptoms. |

i also have one too but not sure if we're allowed to post, but it's in my siggie :) i'd love to have you preggies and mommies join.. but they are very helpful when you are in need or need advice etc.. :) im starting to get the heartburn.. i've got a long way to go though lol.. but im glad ot say i'm at least halfway there! |

yea i'm so excited as i have no complications like my last one! so i'm crossing my fingers everything goes swell from this point on :) im having another baby girl! DH and I would love to have a little boy in the future (maybe 5 years after this one lol!) hopefully we'll be completely debt free (lol yea right, but wishful thinking right!) :) |

sometimes i wish i was further along LoL, but then im thankful for this pregnancy so through all the pains etc im going to enjoy this pregnancy cause i didn't get to with my first.. and i didn't havea belly and now i do LoL the weight gain isn't fun, but having a preggy belly just makes me smile LOL (not the extra stuff, heartburn gas haha) |
im dead shy LOL but i posted on on my forums when i was about 20-21 weeks lol it was a small belly, but you could tell.. if iget enough courage to i'll take belly pictures lol. |

Thanks for your response. My back ache feels like it does when I get my period so was concerened that maybe I could bemiscarrying. I am on prometrium so if I were to miscarry I am not sure if I would bleed. AFter IVF I would go on prometrium and then when blood test would be negative after I stopped it then period would start a few days later. Thanks again. |
