She's also told me that my baby will probably be born in December instead of January like she's due... now the doctors are saying I could have to have her early... Sometimes it makes me wonder.... |

I read someones post on this thread that God creatives an individual Heaven for each of us that would make us happy.... if there are dogs in my Heaven then I wouldn't be very happy :( |

What an enlightening thread. And what a risk to open it. I can't believe that as passionate as all the YT'ers are, everyone has been so open-minded while defending their own beliefs! Kudos to all! This is what our minister told us years ago when asked this question. He said that in heaven, we are complete and perfect as God intended us to be. No affinities, no diseases, no handicaps. There are those of us that are not complete without animals. If you consider yourself to be complete without your animals, there will be no reason for them to be with you. If you do not conisder yourself to be complete without your animals, they will be with for eternity in heave. To take this belief one step further (which is where the rescuers verse comes in at the Rainbow Bridge), if you feel strongly that ALL animals should go to heaven - not just yours because you need them - then all animals will be in heaven with you, whether their owners "need" them there or not. Obviously, this would include the lost and abandoned animals too. My only hope is that in heaven, no animals have the need to shed, because otherwise, I'm going to be so busy sweeping my little corner of heaven with all my animals and the other unclaimed ones!! |
i always liked what my dad told us, if your dog is a requirement for you to be happy than he'll be there smart, but not lying to a kid and giving a definite yes |

I am counting on it .... love all dogs and want to see that they are well taken care of, and I can hug and hold them once again .... Of course, I want to see "my" babies there .... |
My mother passed away 2 years ago. My niece(14 yrs) & my granddaughter(6yrs) have had dreams of grandma as an angel with a dog. When I asked my grand dtr what the dog looked like she described Ben, a blonde cocker pup that my great grandmother had given my mother when I was 10 yrs old. Gracie had never seen a picture of Ben.....I went through my old pic's I found one and she said "that's grandmagreat's dog in heaven!". I also asked my niece and she described Ben as being with her grandma. I handed her a group of pictures and she picked out Ben. It gives us comfort, I think, that those who served us so well & that we loved so much would continue to be a part of our spiritual existance. I need to have that comfort while I am of this world. I miss my Maltese, Jack, so much it hurts and after 5 yrs since his passing I still feel him near me every day. I have always felt the link between his heart & mine. I choose to believe that his spirit will be with mine someday. |
