Random Act of Kindness
 

Not sure if thats what you call it but.....Thats what I call it anyway.

So I am in chat a lot and have got to know a few people pretty well. We discuss a lot, even down to what we are getting our kids for X-mas and so on. Well this one gift I am trying to get my son is a REALLLLLY hard item to find and just hit the shelves yesterday i think....its gonna end up being like the Wii where ya have to wait 8 hours in line to get one. I discuss it with a few in chat and a few hours later this person gets ahold of me thru texting and says I FOUND IT!!! You want me to get it??? I said OMG YES....I was just SHOCKED first they found it, and second they were gonna get it for me!!
Its not exactly a cheap item....costs 170.00!!!!! I pay pal'ed the $ a few hours later and its being shipped to me in the next few days!!!

I just thought I would share this story as it may inspire a few thru the holidays...I know it touched me....This person has helped make my 12 year old sons Christmas Morning PERFECT!

Im not gonna use names but will say this...there are some angels floating around YT, and ya just never know who they may be....and when you may run into one....the good news is THEY DO EXIST!!! I have Proof!!! Hopefully I will be able to share the look on my sons face when he opens this with you all!!! PICS PICS PICS :D :D :D :xmastree: :grinhat: Thank You for this act of kindness.....

Aww, that was so sweet of them! :) I know I'm always up for helping someone else out...especially when it involves shopping. lol

Yep me too....I love doing things for people and when you get it back...sometimes like your huh??? Kinda dont know what to do with yourself!!!

That made your christmas shopping ALOT easier this year I bet. It is always nice to get the high stress items out of the way!!!!

That's the way karma works. Eventually, when you reach out to enough people, it widens so much that it can't help but create a circle and loop itself right back to you! I've seen many times how quick you are to reach out, so I can't help but smile to know the circle has worked its way back to you. And I'm especially glad that it is for something that will SO make the holidays for your rugrat.

It also seems to be the law of the land on YT. I was only on this site a few weeks when I began to see one great deed after another. It still continues to amaze me. With very few exceptions, Yters are the best! :)

Oh, that was such a wonderful act of kindness! I know there are a great many number of YT angels out there. This is a wonderful site with many wonderful angels.

Thats so nice, I also received a act of kindness from another yt member this week, It really shows just how kind and sweet eveyone her is, I was so thankful for her kindness and hope someday to do something nice for her. iam so happy now your son will get what he wanted:) :) Yt is awsome:D

I find a lot of people on here are very kind and giving.

That is so wonderful!!! WOW!! I am dieing of curiousity of WHAT it was???? I have a 13 year old and totally clueless what to get him??? I love to surprise him and get that mouth dropping look!!

That is so nice! And it's true! There are tons of amazing ppl here on YT, i also have experienced it. I wish i knew everyone here personally, that would be great:) I'm so happy for your son and that he will have a great xmas!

Ohhh I wish i knew everyone too!!! I mean this YT angel is someone I happen to be very close too but still they went thru the buying, packaging, shipping and all just for me and my family. :D

I see it happening all the time on here and it's totally amazing! I hope I get the opportunity too brighten someones day the way mine has been. And reading all the posts in here hearing how others agree is GREAT!

What a great story!! I love YT and the generous people here!! Recently I posted about living in the stone age as my microwave had died & my tv remote had quit working -- wonderful yters sent me a universal remote they were no longer in need of. - I was thrilled :D - kept all the furbabies happy too, so mom didn't have to pop up & change the channel & disrupt the flow

I make a point to never help anyone:D

That's awesome. It's not the material item - it's the fact that you can answer a wish for your kids.

The way I look at it, YT itself is a random act of kindness. Most people just stumble across it one day and are offered a chair, a shoulder, a pep talk, whatever is needed........

That was very thoughtful and kind of that person to do that for you!! Your son is going to be sooooo Happy!!! Can't wait to see the pictures!! better get your tylenol ready LOL :D
