Whoooohooo - I'm fully employed !
 

I posted this in my Thank you thread but wanted to share :D :D

After searching intensely for a job - today I landed 'THE' job today that I think I'll love - I've been working for a company part-time until I could find the right job and and today....I did a 2nd interview with a company I interviewed with 2 weeks ago and GOT It !! :thumbup: :thumbup:

It's better money with an immediate raise after 90 days AND they're going to be flexible with the hours till I can get moved :thumbup:

I'll probably work 10 - 4 - so the girls won't be alone for more than 9 hours (which is still long for them but standard with an 8-5 job) then ....once I find a place to live closer to work...go to a regular schedule ...

even better is he told me there'll be times I can WORK FROM HOME !!! He said as long as he and I are in communication then sometimes I won't even have to go to the office :eek: That really caught my attention lol - I have a long commute for a bit, but once I move I think it's going to be perfect for us

The company is very laid back and I think I'll love working there - I'll be working in MS Publisher alot ....there's room for advancement and the people are really nice -

yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee - One HUGE stressor off my mind !! I bet I'll be able to log onto YT from work if I don't get obnoxious about it hehe :D

OMG V - I am soooo happy for you and the power of YT prayers comes through again. It's so important to find a job that you love especially since you'll be spending so much time there and so nice that they are a laid-back company to boot. Also that they will let you work from home sometimes...so good for the girls. This is the first post that I can "feel" your excitement and that hopefully things will be looking good from now on. So happy and love your avatar with the girls.....so darn cute...we need Spy girl stories..hahaha. :D

Thanks so much everyone - I was really stressing thinking my GOD I'm underqualified - and here was a job waiting for me that I can utilize the skills I have AND he's working with me on the hours away from the girls ...I don't think I can do better right now and I'm really excited - :D

I believe there is a time for everything and although I know you have search extensively for a job when your hubby was around HE knew time spent with loved ones was more important than trying to get your financials straightened out.

I miss my husband terribly but know what I need to do...

All the work has paid off - there were days when the job search would get me down but I made myself be vigilent - that's why you haven't seen me here at all -

I'm still in shock - I didn't dream anyone would work with me the way this company is going to - The commute alone at rush hour time would have been 1-1/2 hours and I think I'll be able to avoid that ....that's a HUGE bonus and way easier on my girls -

Now I have to tell the other job I'm leaving and that's going to be hard - :( they\'re super nice guys and they were hoping I\'d go full time in a month or 2 when they got busier, but I just didn\'t see that happening -

sending hugs ...All that\'s left is getting this party started and a new place to live :p :p :p :p
