Any good books? Reccomendations?
 
I finally finished all my things to do ..lol.. well for now at least. and finished my last book, anyone have any good books they would reccommend. Preferably trilogys... I always want to know what happens next....:D

Vegas Rich, Vegas Heat and Vegas Sunrise by Fern Michaels. I found them to be excellent reads! Anyone who borrowed them from me loved them also!

I highly recommend "The Kite Runner" and "A Thousand Splendid Suns" by Khaled Hosseini ... they are not in a trilogy. but just great books.

I'm currently reading James Patterson Alex Cross Series.. It's really good.

I like reading books to find out what's next too.. so his books are Great for that!!!

HARRY POTTER!!! The last book was SO good, I've read it twice since it came out this summer!!!

Tami Hoag is an all time fav for me, I think she has a few sequals. William Dihel is awesome he is the author of Primal Fear, Show of Evil and Reign of Terror, If i remember correctly. I always enjoy a good mystery!
A great book, if you havent read it already is The Alchimist. It has been around forever and has a few diferent authors.

I am reading "STEP ON A CRACK" now ...
I like James Patterson also ...
and I also recommend Harlan Coben's books ...

I agree, I've read a few and REALLY enjoyed them, especially "Tell No One"

Monday, if you like Harlan Coben then you might enjoy "Chosen Prey" by John Sandford.

Cindy... what kind of gener do you enjoy most? At the minute I've been autobiographies written by people who have had terrible upbringings, suffered at the hand of child abuse both mental and physical and also stories about girls who have lived in the Magdalene Laundries. If you like those kinds of books I can recommend several really good ones and a few have follow up books too.

I have a varied taste so if you let me know what kind you like I might be able to recommend a few.

I read a few of the "Prey" series about 5-6 years ago, I liked them ... but I really enjoy Coben's books, I just forget them and they seem to run into each other ...
I think the last one I read was PROMISE ME ...oh, and THE WOODS ... but the one that stays in my head is about the photgraphs (JUST ONE LOOK???)

Thanks for the referral though ... let me know if you come across others, I have caught up on all Coben's books now ...
I also like Jeffrey Deaver ....

Have a look for some by Micheal Connelly, he's a good author too. :D

I've gotta go to the library tomorrow anyway so I'll look for a Jeffrey Deaver book, I've not read any of his.

Jen Lancaster has written two books so far about her life. She's quite hysterical and i can't wait for the next book to come out. If you love reading about a real person with a humorous and sarcastic look on life then i definitely recommend her books. The first is "bitter is the new black" and the second is "bright lights, big ass"

Yeah, I really like her, too. Beverly Lewis has a bunch of different series about Amish. They are christian fiction, I love them. I have read every one and waiting for next one to get to library!!!

I also like Danielle Steel, I am reading her last one "amazing grace" right now, really good.

I love the books by Jeffrey Deaver, The Lincoln Rhyme series was my favorite ones to read. If you get one I recommend starting with "The Bone Collector" it was an awesome book. I also liked "The coffin Dancer", The Empty Chair" and "Hell's Kitchen"

Reading is my favorite hobby. I like the Phillipa Gregory books about Henry the eighth's wives. Time Travelers Wife was good. I liked the Twilight Vampire series. Shopaholic series is pretty good also. I'll go through the list of ones I've read this year and add some more later.

I am a big reader myself! I loved Phillipa Gregory's books. I also likes Lisa See books, "Snowflower and the Secret Fan" was good, but boy did it make my feet hurt reading about the foot binding!

ooh yes, I love Jodi Picoult books too. I have a stack of them still to read, I plan on reading every single one she's written.

Water for Elephants was pretty good. P.S. I love you is coming out at the movie theater. I'd suggest reading the book first, it was enjoyable. Memoirs of a Geisha is a must read for anyone who enjoys reading.

Middlesex by Jeffery Eugenides...great book...I couldnt put it down. I want to read it again! It was also on Oprah's Bookclub list this summer.

The best book I've read recnetly- The dogs of Babel. It was so good I read it 3 times in a month, and I normally never read a book more than once.

Also A Million little pieces is good.
