Who Is Ready For Black Friday Shopping
 

ME, There is a camera iam so wanting for christmas, My girls are suppose to be buying me one, gosh hope i can wait:rolleyes: yes i have to:cool: Shopping that day is soooooo fun, crazy but fun, love the great deals;) anyone else get up at 4 am to be there at 5am, I know iam not alone;)

I am! I have a list of some of the stores that have posted their sales! Target is my first stop!

Nothing to exciting. :( That I would dare get up that early- I'd just get someone else to do it for me. :p

I'm going to the outlets the next day (Saturday)- hopefully it won't be as bad as Black Friday.

I went to midnight madness at the outlets last year, it was a total mess and will never do it again. There really isn't a whole lot out there that I want so, I will most likely just shop online and avoid crowds as much as possible.

I have to work. I love shopping on that day

I would love to go, but none of my friends or family like the crowds, so I suppose I am just going to sleep in and put up holiday decorations...

Haha, I saw that they were doing that this year! I also love Pottery Barn Outlet.

I mostly just want to go to Christmas Tree Hill and get some ornaments. I'd do it another weekend, but we'll have rented a car then anyway.

I'm sure that area will be a disaster.

I haven't shopped on "black friday" in years...I think I did several times when my daughter was younger. My MIL goes all the time....she will call me at 4am (even though I have already told her we wouldn't be going)....but she does get good deals.

We have friends that go (husband and wife) and they both love it....say they save $5-800 each year by shopping on this day....

I used to do it years ago but not anymore . . . I am eyeing a new computer but that does not require me to get up tooo early :) I am probably just going to bed around that time :)

I never go out on Black Friday. I hate crowds!! I never even shop on weekends....too many people for me!!!! I do all my shopping during the week to avoid weekend crowds. However, I did take my son to ToysRus on Sunday....it was CRAZY!!! I went back yesterday and bought all his Christmas and there were no lines!!!

The crowds will be nuts and people will be rude, but I always go with my mom, sister, aunt, and cousin. It's so much fun!! If you really want to know how crazy I am, I will get up that early, fight the crowds, and I may not buy anything. I go for the bonding.

Me too! I have never been nor do I care to go and fight crowds at 4:00 a.m...My son went one year, and was back home and in bed before I even crawled out of bed...!!
Best time I think to buy Christmas gifts, is the day after Christmas...LOL

I go shopping on black friday , cant wait for the big day to come .I finished up my christmas shopping yesterday .but i love to go just in case i have bought somthing and it goes on sale,then i can get it and take the other back,oops forgot still have hubby and furbabys to shop for .:)

I don't shop Black Friday but I am the idiot that gets up at 4am for the day after Christmas sales..lol.

I AM - I AM - I AM.....I LOVE Black Friday. It think it is my most favorite time of year - hee, hee! :p

I usually go shopping with my mother in law since she is the only one who can keep up with me. I love my mom and sister to death but one year I made the mistake of taking them with me and OH man I thought I would kill them. They were such babies (hee, hee) complaining about crowds - well DUH it is BLACK FRIDAY..... hee, hee. Can you tell I am a hard core shopper??? ;)

I think I can convert back to being one again if I can join you . . .I am a big time shopper too, just do get the time much anymore :eek:

I used to love going shopping on black fridays. A few yrs ago one woman got her arm broken at my Walmart fighting with another lady over a TV! :rolleyes:

This year I am having a garage sale on Friday. We did it a couple years ago and made really good money by having it the friday and saturday after thanksgiving.

I LOVE IT!!! We call it DATS (day after Thanksgiving shopping). My sister in law and I got up last year at 2 am to go....I actually didn't want to go until the morning but she woke me up to tell me a secret last year (we were all spending the nite at my sisters house)...she told me she had taken a collection up from herself, my sister and my parents to get them all to chip in to help me get a yorkie and that she had half the money I need. So of course I got up at 2 am and shopped. The Sunday after Thanksgiving I picked up my new yorkie! My sister in law always says she owns one of Teddi's legs. So this year we were talking about the shopping and she said "you know I'm not buying you another leg of a dog this year" and I said I don't need one but yes we can shop at 2am! We are so excited. We have it all mapped out on where we are going and what time we will stop to get breakfast. We shopped last year from 2am until about 5pm (but basically we only stopped because the SUV wouldn't hold anything else. We both love to have all the presents wrapped and under the tree so we get home and start wrapping. I have already bought about 10 presents and I plan on wrapping them tomorrow nite! I love everything about Christmas.

OH that would be the icing on the cake if we could go together Des...how much fun would that be????? :D :D :D :D

I have a feeling we would get little shopping done because we would be chatting WAY too much - hee, hee!! :p :p

Ive never done it - but I think this is going to be the year! There are a couple of items that I REALLY NEEED - yes NEED lol Im scared and excited at the same time...

I used to go out before dawn on those Fridays when my kids were little and "had" to have that special toy. The most memorable....one of my older boys and I got up at 4am to be at Walmart by 5am and when they opened the doors we both made a mad dash down separate aisles towards the toy department to grab a .............what do you think it was my daughter wanted so badly about 10 years ago? Can you guess?
