I am sooo looking forward to Black Friday. (We will be traveling to my "hometown" for Thanksgiving.) My daughters still live there. Hubby and furkids sleep in and the girls meet me at the hotel that we are staying in (4 AM)..... which is convieniently close to most of the stores that we like to hit first. We each have our list of earlybird items that we want... and we "hussle our bussles" thru to get them and flee!!...... no messing around, no unplanned purchases..... shop and GO!! :D Then after hitting 4-5 stores, we wander to the mall and get a cup of coffee. Then we shop in the mall for ourselves....... of COURSE we need a new outfit to wear to all the Christmas parties!!!..... and then we wrap it up at a restaurant for breakfast. We order a "to-go" breakfast for hubby, he usually is just waking up by the time we get back!:p |

Not me! The crowds and traffic make me crazy and I'd probably have a meltdown. I'm sure my sister and her 2 daughters will be going, though. Sis is tiny, but she gets in there and claws and scratches with the best of 'em:D |
MEMEMEME!!! That's "Girl's Weekend" for my mom & I. We literally shop til we drop. Before I lived in the Dallas area, it was a bigger deal because we'd make it a road trip here & do ALL of our shopping that weekend. We'd have bags after bags. Now that I live here, it's not quite the same but still fun. |
I have always been the Blk Fri babysitter. :cool: Up at 4, at the daughter's by 4:30, back asleep by 4:45. This year SIL has to work on Fri. :mad: Rats!!! She does not want to go ALONE.....I must find a way out of going with her. I'm trying to talk him into going with her until 8am, then he goes to work, DL shows up to watch the kids & I go and meet her wherever she's at-or-:rolleyes: I stay with kids and send DL to meet up with her!!! Hey, that works better for me!!!! |
I am hoping that my fabric store will have some extra good specials. That's the only reason I can imagine getting crushed in the crowds. :hands: GOOD LUCK TO ALL YOU BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPERS! :hands: We need to start a check in thread to be sure you all make it home safe! |
We are avoiding it at all costs. We are cleaning the house that day...closets and all. |

Ya'll are some BRAVE people! I do NOT go shopping on that day. Went ONE time and that was enough for me! Hope you get some good deals but my butt is staying at home...actually, I'm working...but I'll be far away from the stores! LOL |
Yeah, I am. I am looking for a pS 3 and lots of other stuff. I am always so tired afterwards, but I like it. I havent went in 2 years, so I am ready this year. Unless, there is a ton of snow, I may change my mind!! lol |

can someone tell me....is it only on Friday?? or do they still have the sales on Saturday??? we are only 3 hours from Great Falls Montana, and I have never heard of this before....but if the sales are that good, I think I want to go... |
