Will you say a small prayer for my mom if you get a chance?
 
Tomorrow morning she goes into surgery for a total knee replacement. She is TERRIFIED :( I don't know whats going thru her but I've never seen her like this. Every phone call (and I talk to her several times a day:)) she crys. I'm having a hard time being strong for her. It breaks my heart to hear her cry.

She's been through alot. I can't count the many times I've been here asking for a prayer for her.

She's had a finger amputated due to cancer. She goes what seems, once a month to have spots removed.

I didn't post about this, but she just also went in and had two cancer spots removed from her head. One of them they didn't get it all :( So after this knee surgery, she's scheduled AGAIN, to go for yet another surgery on her head.

I'm trying to be strong, I know I have to for her. I have to work tomorrow but will be taking a couple hours off in the morning to spend with my dad while she is in surgery.

Please, if you think about it, keep her in your thoughts?

Brenda,

My prayers are with you and your parents. I will say a prayer for her and you know if you need me at any given time just call me. Please let me know as soon as you talk to your Dad and he says everything is ok. Its when they get to that age, where they get terrified, my grandmother was like and I also think the thought of cancer, gets to them too at the same time.

She'll be ok :hands: :hands:

Brenda, I'm sorry your mom is having such a hard time with this surgery. Sometimes we just can't get past the natural fear far enough to hold on to the positive thoughts of a good outcome.

I'll certainly remember her and you & your dad in my prayers tonight and tomorrow. You are a sweet daughter to support her during these tough times.:)

I'm so sorry i will def. pray for her. My mom also had knee surgery and she did fine but her knee still hurts

Gosh Brenda, I am SO sorry about all that your mom is going through! :( That poor lady...I cannot even imagine.

You better believe that she will be in my prayers - I know she must be terrified :( Hang in there girl, and try to be strong for her.

I'll be praying for your Mother. Bless her heart, what a lot to go thru! You're right, the best thing you can do is to pray and be strong for her and your Dad.

My MIL had total knee replacement on each of her knees (2 years apart) and once the recovery/PT part was over, has no pain and is much more mobile!

I will pray for your dear Mom. I was with my Mom through 2 surgeries when she had knee replacements, and once through the recovery time, she was pain free in her knees. I hope all goes well and she has a very quick recovery! *HUG*

that all will be just fine. I have a cousin who had both knees done and
after therapy she was pain free and just fine. I hope your Mom will be

Your mom is in my prayers this morning. Just 5 months ago I had both knees replaced and my knees are really pain free. Any surgery is scary but it is really scary when it comes to you mobility. Any time she wants to "talk" just let me know.

Thank you EVERYONE!!!

Well I had to work today because we are short a person but I made it to the hospital just before they took her down.

I had to leave before I got to see her but got to know she's in recovery and am waiting for an update from my dad.

I don't know why I'm so emotional today!!! I keep crying! ARGH.

ok, ok, so...

I think the more worry was becasue of all the other complications she has going on. She has many health issues. many.

So I'm sitting here just waiting for my dad to call. HURRY UP dad!!!!!
