| My first dog show! I went to my first dog show today- the National Dog Show that they show on Thanksgiving. It was so neat! I've never seen so many dogs in one place before! The Yorkies were especially cute. There was this one who REFUSED to walk! He just laid there! There were also a lot of vendors! I got some Nylabones for .50 each. I also got a really nice porcelain (ceramic?) Yorkie ornament. How it was set up was this morning they showed each breed and one of each breed went onto the show that they taped. I only stayed for the Toy Group. Highlight for spoiler results: The yorkie didn't win the toy group. The arena is so much smaller than it looks on TV. Some parts were really surreal- I swear that there was a speaker that played dog barks during the taping. I loved it! I'd love to attend other dog shows if they come to the area.

| You definitely should, Jenn! I'm not gonna lie.. I liked the vendors as much as the dog showing, haha.

Therapy Dog Donating Member | Kyle that sounds like so much fun the only show I ever went to was a cat show and that was interesting too. Those shows are great since you can really see all the breeds up close and then you get to shop cause they have a zillion vendors. I have to check to see when the next dog show is in our area.

| No. I had taken the camera with the intent of taking pictures but it was so PACKED that it was to hard to even attempt. I wish I would have taken a picture of the little guy that wouldn't walk! I hope his/her owner wasn't to tough on him tonight.

| Me too! It comes on a weird time. I feel like they repeat it (maybe on Animal Planet?) though.

| I wanted to go, but on their website it said you can't bring your own dogs in so I passed.

| Yeah, you couldn't. I saw a few people just standing outside with dogs. I guess they brought them thinking they could take them along.
