I actually made one tonight: INGREDIENTS: 4 boneless chicken breast halves, skin removed 2 lemon 1 teaspoon lemon pepper 1 teaspoon ground paprika PREPARATION: Place chicken breasts in a slow cooker. Squeeze juice of half a lemon over chicken. Sprinkle lemon pepper and paprika over top. Cut remaining lemon half into thin slices. Arrange slices around chicken. I have one of the small cookers since I just cook for me. I usually do two pieces at a time when I do, then cook up some rice and add a quick canned or fresh veggie. My absolute favorite is to get my fav. BBQ sauce, pour in half the bottle and leave it on for a few hrs... thats all just the sauce and the chicken. It is soo good when it comes out! |
We just take the skin off the chicken unless it's the whole chicken, and mix two envelopes of chicken gravy with only one cup of water. Salt & pepper the chicken, spray veg. oil in the crock pot, place the chicken and pour the gravy over. Simple and oh so good. You can also use just one envelope of chicken gravy with one cup of water and one can of either cream of chicken or cream of mushroom soup. Many simple ways to a good crock pot chicken dish. :D |
