What's in your purse/What do you carry every day? Just for fun, I thought it would be neat to see what you carry around every day....and what is in your purse. I change my purse often, but I have been carrying around my big black one for awhile. Currently, I have the following in it: a fabric tape measure pens and a black sharpie checkbook/wallet small hair clip and ponytail (just in case) ziplock of mints, cinnamon discs and game makeup bag - fingernail file, chapstick, kleenox, blotting papers,etc phone keys - car, house, etc notpad Vairous receipts (gas, Target, post office, etc) a straw....new one (of course)..I have to drink with a straw!! GE buddy lists Daughters Nintendo DS game (still in there from yesterday) Brown tights that my daughter needs to take back to Target Bills to be mailed today Money that needs to go into the bank today I always have my FOLDER with me...it is my planner, calendar, notebook, folders of important things that I need (like daughters schedule, address book, phone numbers, etc). |
I change purses i switch from my louis vuitton (not real) to my tinkerbell Currently in it: Checkbook Wallet Peppermints My cell phone is usually in there when I'm going somewhere but right now it's on the coffee table |

I have: Small photo album that has pictures of my Annie-Belle in it from our trip to Hilton Head 4 pens and purple sharpie wallet/checkbook cell phone keys chapstick lipstick sunglasses dental floss blue tooth iPod nail polish |
I have no patience to switch bags any longer. I always leave something behind in the one that I switched from.:( Thiniks I carry everday 1. Wallet, as big as the bag 2. Kleenex, lots and lots 3. Telephone #'s book 4. Keys 5. cell phone 6. glasses 7. lipstick and mirror 8. mints guess that's it. No wonder my shoulder aches! |
Ive got all the usual junk plus a sudoku book to keep me entertained at Drs appointments or other boring places!! |

Address book (yes I still keep an old fashioned one along with my blackberry) 11. I-Pod 12. Pen and small pad 13. Sunglasses 14. Case for my regular glasses 15. Extra pair of nylons Yes I carry all that on a daily basis...I am going to become a hunch back! |
Right now I'm carrying: a small yearly planner a small Bath & Body works lotion and body splash an antibacterial gel 2 pens gum a bag of sugar free hard candy wallet receipts from grocery store and craft store a comb 2 lip gloss keys eye drops makeup bag: compact powder, eye liner, 3 eye shadows, lipstick, mascara, concealer stick. 1 carefree a few coupons and maybe something else that's hidden at the bottom :D |
my wallet, chapstick, telephone, keys, pens, back slips, checkbook, aubreys pet id tag, camera, some ribbon (lol don't ask) my gps unit.. i don't like leaving it in the car, gum, usualyl a bank statement or reciepts to take stuff back. pad/tampon, tylenol. antibacterial soap. |

Today in my purse: Car keys Palm Pilot Cell phone iPod small tape measure small multitool small penlight hemostat (never know when you'll need it) wallet mints little bottle of Purell small tube of hand cream silk hankie kleenex packet sunglasses reading glasses small brush hair elastic small compact with mirror lipstick and lipgloss extra pen bottle of water energy bar ziplock with almonds and raisins Yes, talk about being prepared for almost anything..but when I leave the house,, it might be 6 hours before I get back. |
I'm petite, so I usually carry a small purse & not much fits in it. cell phone billfold, which has a few dollars, some change, credit cards, drivers license, stamps & a few photos & right now an empty check book - waiting for new checks to arrive via the mail. certs lip balm Missing from my purse??? My work ID -- going nuts trying to find it for the last 2 days!! I had it on Friday, have scoured my desk & at home. Next on the list is to check through the car and see if it fell out of my purse |

I like little purses too: wallet sidekick chapstick sanitizer gel bobby pins pens ipod keys I think the mommies on this thread have to have the bigger purses :p |

omgosh...the question for me would be... "What isn't in my purse" lol No wonder women tend to have back problems. Look what all we carry in our purse. I know I'm bad about throwing my change in my purse. Not too long ago I noticed it was extra heavy. I had 83.23 cents in change and dollars. lol I wish I could say I'm an organized purse person, but I'm not. I always think....ok this time I'll keep it organized, but it never fail, it ends up getting unorganized again. But if you need it, I got it. lol |

Me too Denise, LOL. My purse is part of me, so much stuff in it and then some. Takes me forever to find the cell phone, hunting for it my tune "When The Saints Go Marching In" is blasting loudly as I have the volume up so I can hear the phone :) I hate wearing a bra, soooooooo I have a habit of taking my bra off and stuffing it in a baggie in my purse:D ahhhhhhh sometimes that is such a relief but then again maybe that is what causes those darn upper back aches:eek: Thanks Jenn 218 for starting this thread reminds me I better go clean my purse out, it's getting to where I can't find anything:eek: Patti |

Well... I switch purses a lot, to match outfits and stuff. So I keep the bare essentials, which includes: LIPGLOSS - a must $$$ Wallet/Drivers lic Cell Phone And Im good to go :D |
I have a khakie coach tote and a black coach purse. The tote is easier to deal with and the black one feels like luggage. But I am grateful for a thoughtful husband. I only take them when I go to a nice resturant...and I dont mean cheesecake factory! or a resort type hotel. I watch nurses pile into my hospital each day with a purse, a insulated lunch bag AND a tote or backpack!! I wonder everyday what IS IN THERE???? I got the elevator with a guy the other day. His badge read cardiac monitor tech!!! He had a full carry on bowling bag type thing and a back pack!! I said...plan on spending the night??? lolol If I cant put it in my pocket it stays at home!!!!!! I have my blackberry on my waist.... lip gloss in one pocket and a little starbucks cash and a atm card and driver's lic in the other. If i cant put it in a zip lock and grocery bag for lunch i dont bring it. After lunch I throw everything away. NO plastic containers to wash and take home. I like to keep it simple!!!:rolleyes: |

Lets see I have a small purse so- Sunglasses (unless they're on top of my head, and they usually are) Wallet Checkbook Pen powder lipstick So not THAT much... my bookbag is a whole other story though. |
