With all of this positive energy flowing through you all I just know the cats will find loving homes.

Angie, I am the original owner of Maddie and was very happy to hear that Megan and Teri found such a great home for her. I know that it was very hard for them to make these decisions and as each baby finds a new home, although it doesn't make the circumstances any easier - it will help. I am also happy that you are a YT member so that I can still see her from afar :). Please remember that she might be a little afraid at first so watch out for her running off - she has done that.

God Bless you all for being so kind to Teri and Megan. It's great to see a community come together for their own - an on line community at that. :lovewings

Tracy, thanks so much for the information! Teri and Rhonda have both warned me about her attempts to run away at first. We are going to be SUPER careful with her! I'm a little worried about the trip back to TN, but hubby knows to not even CRACK the door open unless she has a leash on!!

Wow, she's getting to see all the whole country! First Ohio, then Jersey, and now Tennessee! I'm glad she has friends all over the country! What a special little girl she is!

If I am ever not posting enough pics and videos here, just PM me and let me know. I'll be happy to do as many as you'd like so that you, Teri, and Megan can see her anytime you want! :)

I agree! This is definitely a wonderful community. I don't know how many times I've had a question or concern about Marty and I could ALWAYS find the answers I needed here. I love how everyone is so caring and supportive! Thanks for being awesome YT'ers! :thumbup:

Tracy, I hope you're doing well. :)

Tonight is Tucker's last night with us. =( We have a chance of getting him back in the future. His problem is that, even though he ACTUALLY does provide a service to my mom, he isn't fully housebroken. and my cousin Donna is firm in her belief that she can housebreak him. and she's also "just fostering him until [our] situation changes." so maybe...when she thinks he can be trusted...my mom can pull the "I need a service dog" thing with the landlady haha.

I'm trying to make his last night special without freaking him out lol.

Oh, that's good news! Hopefully he'll be fully housebroken VERY soon! It would be so great if he could come back home! What kind of service does he do? (If you don't mind me asking.)

I'm sure he'll have a wonderful night! I'm betting he'll love all of the extra hugs and kisses and attention. ;)

Hi Megan, I am doing well honey. Stay strong. I think of you, your mom and family often and am sending good thoughts your way. I know that you will settle in soon to your new home and things will work out. Enjoy your little trip and take a load off your mind. You all deserve it! Yeah...Donna has sent me like 3 pictures on the phone so far haha. He looks like he's having a great time. :) He's already managed to stomp all over the "no dogs on the couch" thing haha.

I'm having a really hard time about Rusty. I know I keep coming back to him...and I hope it doesn't seem like I don't care about the yorkies. But Rusty is just SO special to me and...you know. I wish I could just explain to him what's going on. I can't stop crying. :(

I knew without you saying that Rusty was going to be the hardest for you.

Megan no doubt about it he will miss you all but once he gets settled in with the best dog owners he could have taking care of him, he will be fine. I know what you mean though about 'if only I could tell him what is going on'
He's had a wonderful life and will continue to and Rusty wants you to be happy just like you were so happy for him when you found out who would take that great guy with the soulful eyes. You just have a great trip and know that you have done the best anyone no less a teenie bopper could have ever done for her animals. Hugs, Joan

Have the kitties found a home yet? When they do, maybe Admin will change the name of the thread to "Very sad news..... but still a good ending".

God works in very mysterious (if not often aggravatingly mysterious) ways......
