Well my Yorkie girl Gucci is 7 months old and weights 5 lbs. My name is Marisa. We live in Manhattan. Looking forward to meet more Yorkie lovers from the area.

Hi. I have 6 yorkies, Mo, Grace, Liz, Molly, Mick and Patty. We have two litters currently for a total of 5 babies. We live in Western NY. Looking forward to meeting people here also.

HI my name is Heather and I'm new to this forum. I actually joined because I'm picking up my new little girl (her name will be Coco) in 3-4 weeks. I can't wait. I had two Yorkies growing up, and I'm ready for my first pet. So, this forum has been great for refreshing my memory and learning new things. As soon as I get Coco, I'll post a picture of her on here.

Hi, my name is Christina, I don't have any yorkies yet. I am waiting until we have a place that allows pets. In the meantime I am learning everything that I can about yorkies so that when I get one I can do my very best with it. I live about 45 minutes north of albany, in the Glens Falls area. Nice to see some other people from NY. :aimeeyork

Hi Christina, We just moved our mother back from Pottersville. She had moved up there three years ago and then got sick. We spent a lot of time in the Glens Falls Hospital. The area is very nice up there.

I too am from Queens, NY. I have no Yorkie at this point but am in the process of researching, etc. Glad to be here and hope we can all provide one another with helpful tips and some good conversation!

Would Maryland be considered NorthEast or SouthEast? We've always called it Mid-Atlantic.

I think MD, might be south east? I always thought it was mid-atlantic too,but, if we're below the Mason-Dixon line, won't we be considered south east?
Oh, well. I'm from northern Va so I go through the same thing.

Lily and I live in Hoboken with my BF (her "daddy")!!

Lily was born Nov 1 and is a little under 2 pounds right now!!

I know RubyC!! How nasty was the weather yesterday :umbrella: ....and we supposedly had our offical Spring Day on Sunday....this is crap!!

Tfc3rid and jersie12, I got Mason from a breeder in OH. My friend's father breeds yorkies so I picked up a boy from his last litter. I wanted a boy and he was the only boy in the litter so I didn't get to select a puppy - my friend brought him back from me on the plane and I saw him for the first time at LaGuardia Airport! Hi everyone! Well, a few months ago I accepted a job in Troy, Ny, packed up my babies (Simon and Hallie) in the car and drove here from Alaska. I am looking for a good park in the Albany area to take them for walks or maybe even a dog walking group as they both love other animals. Anyone know of any? Thanks, Kim/Simon/Hallie
