I need you guys to look at these two videos of my little boy Murphy. He has been having these (what I call) tremors for a little while now and now they are getting worse. He used to have problems when he was a puppy and had hypoglycemia so at first I thought it was just that but now they are getting worse and seem to immobilize him.

The vet I take him too ACTUALLY told me I was over reacting when I asked about it and so now I am PISSED :mad: :mad: beyond belief and taking him in to a new Vet Saturday morning.

I just spoke to his breeder who said what she thought it could be. She is so sweet and trying to calm me down and help me figure out what could be wrong with my baby boy. Most of you who know me ... know I LOVE my Murphy boy and it is just killing me that something could be wrong with him. I am praying PLEASE GOD let him be okay.

Any one know what this could be or seen their baby do this? :confused:

Sorry for my voice in the video I was trying to calm him down since I was filming him instead of holding him like I normally do when he has these attacks. I needed video of it so I could show the Doctor. I am tiered of trying to explain it. Also the videos are a little dark - don't know if there is a way to lighten them?????

I know how you feel as one of my yorkies has MVD (compromised liver) and the other one has just been diagnosed with a collapsed trachea. My vet didn't take me serious about the honking episodes until I showed him a video and then he immediately said we need xrays. The xray confirmed a minor collapsed trachea. Both are on medication.

I have spoken to a new vet and moved his appointment up to tomorrow morning instead of Saturday. I would go today but have meetings on and off all day. I will make sure to give you all an update tomorrow after I get back from the new vet.

Also I was able to bring him in to my work today for a while and keep him with me and some of the girls when i go into meetings. I have such a work friendly office so it is no problem. He is okay so far today. My hubby just came and picked him up and took him home with him and to be back with Mia - I am sure she is wondering where he has been all day!

Oh God Caren, I know you are scared to death! Did your vet think they could be seizures? Our first dog Basil had seizures that looked very similar. The vet put him on a common seizure medication- I am totally blanking on the name but the same on humans take and he was completely fine after that. He had to have blood work twice a year to make sure the medication level was okay but that was it. I know I almost had major heart attacks until he was diagnosed. Spike and I are sending you big hugs and kisses Murphy!

Edit- just remembered the meds- it was Phenobarbitol. Worked like a charm.
