What a darling little girl. I could watch her for hours. I'm going to see if mine would do that, but first I'll have to find a body of water that doesn't have big waves.

OUr nearest lake is about 70 miles I think.

That is SO cute girl!! I was just sitting here smiling watching her walk so fast through the water...lol. She is so precious!!

hahah i knwo! she surprised us all!! i put her in because it was just too hot out and she needed to cool down and when i went to pick her back up she wanted down... and now she is a swimmer!!! i'm so happy!! we spend a lot of time near or in water and i was so upset when she didn't like it last year!

LOL TOO CUTE ! at first I thought she was cheating and running on the bottom but she really was swimming - she's adorable !! She wanted to keep up with you so bad - how cute is that !

Layla - you are so adorable and such a good swimmer. Was this her first time in the water? I'd love to get Izzy down to the waters of Lake Erie. Our friend who has a boat and a 7mos. old sheepdog - Bennie loves the water but man Izzy only comes up to his first joint in his leg...hahaha.

Love the video! I'm with, V, though. Was she swimming or mostly walking? Not that matters. She obviously loves the water. I wish my guys did. Maybe I should have started them in shallows like that.

Great way to start! Every dog I've ever tried to teach to swim, I've just tossed them in the deep part. And none of them have enjoyed it. Looks like you've found a better way. I'll have to remember that.
