I have long loved Dex & Peppermint's meal routine, so thought I would make a little video out of it

"OKAY" is Dexter's "release" word for when he can stop doing any command I give him. I used to tell him "Leave It" (which is a command he knows very well) when he would try to steal Pep's food and he gradually learned that the "Leave It" command applies to Peppermin't's food wether I command him to leave it or not. There have been times where I forget to give him the OKAY command when she is done eating and turn around to see that he is still staring at her food, not touching it for over half an hour! Dexter can be a handful, but he sure does listen to his commands! good boy indeed!

Such a good boy !!

My Quincy will sit and wait for the three girl to eat, some times, not always but when he does I'm so proud of him for being a gentleman.

haha! that's the way it was when Pep first came to live with us. But I was having none of it! Especially since Pep is soooooo small and skinny. I need to make sure she gets all the food in her that she can! Luckily Dexter already knew the Leave It command so it wasn't a hard fix

Wow, what a cute video - good boy Dexter! And they are both just gorgeous. I love that she is so girly and he is so masculine. Precious, precious pups.

Looks like you have Dexter trained well. I always just figured he was the one who had you trained, Alana. lol
