Colby Walking I wanted to post some videos of Colby walking. This is what we have been dealing with. Have any of you seen this before. I have watched some videos on what the vet thinks (cerebellar hypoplasia) and I do not know what to think. He kind of resembles some of the dogs in the other videos, but I do not understand how he was exactly the same way when we got him and then came so far just to regress all the way back to how he used to be again. My heart is breaking for him, but he is my special boy. |
Yay!!! I think I finally figured it out. |
So, he was having these problems from the very beginning when you got him as a puppy? I didn't realize that. If so, I could see the diagnosis. When are you taking him to Auburn? |
Aww! Poor baby! I hope they can help him. He is so adorable. |
OMGoodness, the poor little guy! You must be beside yourself with concern. I'm so sorry that Toby is going through this. I don't know anything about the diagnosis, is there anything that can be done to help him? Sending warm hugs and prayers for you both!! |
Lord, please bless little Colby, so he may be better soon :hands: He is so totally adorable, thank you for taking care of him and looking for help on getting him well! |
So sorry for your little guy. Wished I knew the answers for you.....Sending prayers and keeping you in my thoughts |

Yes he is a very special little guy. You can tell and he is lucky to have such a caring Mommy like you. Best of luck to all of you. |
This just absolutely breaks my heart to see this baby in this shape....I can only imagine your devastation. A suggestion that worked for a friend of mine...she went into her jewelry box and pulled out every broken little gold bracelet, ankle bracelets, necklace chains, single earrings, etc and took these gold pieces to one of those places that buys your "old gold"...she walked out of there with over $1500.00!!! Maybe that will help you generate some revenue so you can get to Auburn and get him so help.... |

Bless his heart...he looks like he's trying so hard but he is worried he will fall down. If that is the diagnosis and he improved before, who's to say he won't improve again...prayers! |
Poor little guy. I hope you can find away to get him to Auburn. I know times are tough. |
It looks like he could have sustained an injury to his back, falling down stairs, being kicked (did the breeder have little kids) and the like. I'd get some x-rays done first before pursuing an expensive undertaking. Take him to an orthopedic doctor for a complete check-up to find out what's going on and what avenues to pursue. Don't let him suffer. If you can't afford treatment, maybe you could get a medical card that has the limit of care on it, and if you can't afford payments either, then would you think about letting him go to someone who can afford to help in any area that is needed. |
