| Georgie has done that before and doesn't have CT. I almost liken it to him catching his breath. I know others are more familiar with CT.

| My babies both do that. First Geno started doing it and they were saying it looks like the onset of CT but after that, our baby girl started doing it. She sounds exactly like Keylo. We figured there's no way they both are all of sudden around the same time getting the onset of CT. So I asked the vet when I took her in for a sick visit and he said the weather changing and allergies are a big factor to why they both might be doing it. He prescribed us some cough suppressants to give to them. I know Geno has bad allergies so I wouldn't be surprised if his sister has allergies as well. This didn't start either until the weather started fluctuating.

| It sounds like a wet cough... it's done as inhale and exhale and only lasts a short time, almost like clearing the throat. It really sounds like the cough dogs do when they are extubated after a surgery and for a day or two after. Is she having any trouble drinking water?

| My dog was doing this and I thought it was CT too but vet said the same thing, its a reverse sneeze. When they are doing it, cover their nose with your hand and talk softly to them...it should stop it and calm them down! |

| I was able to watch your video but it was so dark I couldn't see much and there was no sound. I was hoping this was this supposed to be Keylos coughing, the only reason I say hoping is my Nikki has been coughing for a couple months like she has something caught in her throat and can't get it out, I've had her to the vet a couple times they don't know what it is and she never coughs while at the dr. This doesn't effect her eating or playing she'll chase a ball for as long as I can throw it. So by no means was I hoping Keylos was sick I just was looking for something to compare to Nikki. Larry |
