I made this as sort of a Yorkie public service announcement to show people how I get my Yorkies to tolerate snow and cold. Hope it helps!

These aren't the ONLY good booties out there, just the ones I choose.
Hi Mike! your videos never get old! Where did you find fleece booties....I have been looking for booties for the girls...As you said...yorkies are not much of an outdoor dog. I actually tried making booties for them....not much luck...this winter I will try a different pattern, i make my own...Nice seeing the furbutts again!

Actually, on Kaji's first Christmas, I took him to the grand canyon. No booties, and he did well on a hike. :)

I was so into this video it shocked me when it ended. I want more of these guys and your Alaska adventures! That was great. I don't know which of your dogs is the cutest. What a great trio of babies.

Kaji in the snow 2 years ago. We didn't know about booties then.
Kaji went with my brother to see over the ridge. I'm afraid of heights and stayed behind. This is him coming back. :)

Aww, I don't remember seeing that one of Kaji! He looks very comfortable outside. Maybe YOU should be doing the PSA! ;)

Brenda, I got the booties from www.heidiandcompany.com. website doesn't have the best pics and you have to email her to find out about ordering but she'll get right back to you. 4-pound jillie wears 3xs and 10-pound Eddie wears 2xs. They seem like they'd be easy to make. The thing I like best about them is they use an elastic strap to secure the velcro.

Great Video! Thanks so much for the tips! Love toses booties! I wouldnt mind getting Violet some. Here in Michigan our winters can get pretty cold...not as bad as where you are but non the less I'm sure we will be fighting her to go potty ouside being she is so young right now with winter fast approaching!

You have to click on contact us on the left. But here it is below. As for size, 3XS is the smallest they make. I'm thinking that would work for a pup. Jillie weighs 4.5 pounds and the 3XS is perfect.

Oh good! Her website isn't great. Wish she had better pics and a ordering link, but she does reply quickly.

Great video...now I understand why your yorkies look so happy playing in the snow :) I'm going to try and order some booties for Trixie and see if she tolerates being out in the snow for a longer time period. She loves to go out, but loves to come in very quickly.

Trixie sounds like she'd be a natural! Mine are like that without booties. They like going out, but they want to quit sooner.

Oh no! Kaji would be a horrible on camera. I got lucky in those 8 seconds worth of video. It was perfect, Kaji was interested in exploring, he was only down in the snow for 10 minutes, and there were no people arround. As
soon as we saw people, Kaji freaked out and wanted to be held so he can hide in my coat. Eddie, Rusty, and Jillie are much better. Plus, Eddie is just so handsome! I love his little face!!!!!!
