I saw this video on youtube and thought it was pretty shocking/funny/cute. I wanted to share it with you guys. LOL:cool:

Wow! I find it shocking that someone (the owner) would find this funny. I would NEVER allow my dog to growl and snap like that. That dog is showing no respect.

It only looks cute because he's 2lbs. However, I feel bad for the vets and groomers that handle this Yorkie...poor guy clearly hasn't been taught this behavior isn't appropriate.

Yeah...I don't find it cute or funny, the owner needs to address this issue. Imagine this behavior from a 60 lb dog...less funny then.

That made me sad, it was almost like she was teasing the dog. Obviously, this dog needs some training, but so does the girl trying to pet it.

My heart is racing....I jumped everytime she snapped. When I was child, it was NEVER allowed by my parents to tease a dog. We were told that it could make them mean and it's just not nice. First of all, this Yorkie is absolutely adorable, but her behavior is not!!

Made me sad too Nancy, but I didn't get the idea she was teasing the dog, merely showing how the dog reacted to a very slow, gentle moving in of her hand. If this is the owner, this is very shocking that this dog has this kind of temperament, and has been allowed to get away with it.

It may not look like a tease and merely a demonstration, but something caused the dog to react that way, and now just the slightest touch will cause it. To hear the dog growl over and over made me feel like the dog’s space wasn’t being respected. I’m not sure what can be done to retrain a dog that has reached this point, but what she is doing is reinforcing the behavior, which will make it even more difficult to eliminate.
