I apply Bag Balm on his pads and then I put socks on him. It really doesn't seem to help too much. He also really enjoys licking the Bag Balm, so it defeats the purpose. He's not bothered at all by his dry paws. |

I know some with big diggers use a sand-filled kiddie pool with some holes for rain-drainage and hide toys in the sand and let thier dogs dig for toys and chewies and for some reason they seem to prefer the sand-digging to the yard. You guy is quite the worker!!! |

It is.... I dog proofed it time and time again. There has to be at least three dif. Types of edging at the bottom of the fences covering up the holes it looks very tacky... I thing I will remove it all and start fresh so that is all matches. I guess it's just the perfectionist in me.. |

My boy does not dig - he really prefers to be indoors whenever possible. He cleans the grass off of himself when he comes inside, too. It's great finding all that junk ... on the couch... in my bed... you know, the best places ;) My girl, on the other hand, is a bird and squirrel chaser. She is always rolling around outside and she digs these little holes, only a few inches deep, in random places. I call her my ditzy dog. I don't think she can focus long enough to dig like your Max! :animal37 Vada :yorkiej: Bodie |
Tibbe doesn't dig but he loves to wallow around in the grass. It is his secret pleasure!!! This time when the yard was done for the first time this year and the grass mulched, he came in absolutely covered in tiny pieces of grass! Tibbe loves to dig on couch and chair pillows and hides his toys and chew bones down beside the pillows - but not for long. He will dig them right out and re-hide them. |
Jersey and Brielle do not dig holes they just dig in the grass for rabbit and deer poop:eek: Max has grown very nicely into his legs:) |
Cooper rolls around in the grass. I think he tries to take his palm tree top knot out. He's not a digger except when he's trying to get comfy in a plush chair. I've seen him dig twice to bury a Himilayan bone. But Max - he's a terrier on a mission. |

You have a bull...and I have cows! My g:aimeeyorkrls could graze on my sod all day if I would allow it!:D Once they have consumed the sod to the soil...they actually nibble on that, too! When I try and shoo them away...those bad little bab:aimeeyorkes have to try to nibble just one more little morsel...grrr! I get even tho...they absolutely detest the baby wipe that always awaits their dirty lil' beards...lol! Pheeb's will also "charge" whoever is tardy after they've been repeatedly called into the house...guess she's a bull, too.:p |

Wow, you definitely have an experienced digger! Neither of my two dig, but they love to scratch like crazies after they take a poo. I think they like to show off or something :p |
Karen, they look so cute. Tell Max he can come to our house and till up the garden for us. LOL |
