Do any of your Yorkies do THIS with the Carpet??? :) SPY CAM Hey Yorkie lovers, I'm sure Chuchi isn't the only one. I find it adorable when he does this with the carpet, I'd be curious to know why he does it, to immerse himself in his scent :confused: But to me, its just adorable, I hope you enjoy this video from my webcam that just happened to catch Chuchi in his adorable act :) |
Shadow does this in the morning when she wakes up. After a bath, she runs to the carpet to mess up her coat. I think she likes the "messy" look. |

3 of mine do the same thing! Have no reason why, but my grandmother told me it was an old wives tale that ment company was coming:-) but i am sure there is a logical reason why they do this. |
Chuchi is too adorable rolling around on the carpet. I have no idea why he is doing it but mine like to do the same on my bed while doing a cute "this feels soooo good" moan. :D |

It's another way they scent mark. They have gland on each side of their face. Notice how he wallers in it after rubbing his face. ;) |

Love your baby! Mine do that too. I always thought they were like scratching their back and face. Mine will do that on the couch sometimes too. They are too cute. My dachshund will do it also. |
Love your little furbaby. Macy does this too but she likes to do it on a vinyl runner that I keep on top of the carpet. I keep telling her I'm going to turn it over with the vinyl nubs on top so she can really scratch her back on it. She goes in the room with the vinyl runner in it only to rub on it and then she runs out of the room. |
The thing where your pup is rubbing it's neck in the carpet -- my senior Maltese used to do that outside in the grass when she found something that she thought smelled "interesting." (To us, that would be "stinky.") We referred to that as her "putting on her perfume." There is some scent in your rug that your pup really likes, maybe something that you can't even smell but they can, and they are trying to get the scent on them and carry it everywhere they go. |

How adorable. Buster loves to do that on the carpet after a bath and outside when he finds a special lawn. He is quite the grass connoisseur and will only roll on the best of lawns. LOL |
