I loved this!! Great video |
Couldn't get it to load last night, but I saw it this morning and now I'm catching up on ones I missed. SO cute! Jillie has epic spunk! And Rusty, what a sweetheart! How old is he? He looks to be quite the trooper! lol @ the raven....Did you ever see the special on PBS about ravens and crows and how they remember faces and personalities associated with them? I think that one is going to remember Jillie! ^_^ Wow, you guys were seriously shiny down there. I can't imagine how she got up that hill! For that matter, how did you manage to stay upright? :) My hubby wants to get me a set of shoe cleats but with the new snow in and the temps dropping, seems pointless for now. BTW, what kind of video/programs do you use? I have one of those FLIP cams, but I can't edit for beans. :( (Not sure I can get my connection to work long enough to load anything huge, but I may be able to manage about 30 seconds...lol.) |

I use iMovie. It's pretty simple, but it's a Mac program. |
Great video Loved seeing Jillie and your lab running in the snow. Maybe one day we'll get the pups and go to Alaska! All that open space, my dogs would go wonderfully crazy! I too need to get those cleats. |
Love it!!!! |
I can't believe I missed this.... oh my God, I love Jillie so much. Jackson and her NEED to meet in their lifetime, LOL. Rusty and Jillie did great walking on that ice. I would've fell right on my butt. They are such troopers! |
sooo cute. little ice road troopers. good job Jillie. you made me laugh so much. |
Very Cute Video! Jillie is more a trooper than I could ever be - I had to get up and put on a sweater to finish watching the video :D Brrrr..... You rock Jillie and Rusty! |
I have to admit, when we first brought Jenna home, I was wondering how we'd weather the winter (pun intended). But I am blown away by how hardy she is! She goes right out in that cold and struts down the road and does her thing, then a few 360's just for fun...and if the powder is fresh, she likes to plow right through it till her little dragon beard is clumped in it! We had close to -40 F last week. She still insisted on being outdoors for her potty time. I think there was only one night I thought it was too cold to go out, and she took it in stride-waiting to go till morning and warmer temps. We don't spend a lot of time walking around in that kind of cold of course, but that she'll even go out there...heck she's got more nerve than I ever expected of her, and more moxie than her Fairbanks-born daddy! (my hubby-who is now of the age that cold is just cold, and no fun whatsoever) I already sent a PM, alaskayorkie, but I loved the "Short People" video. I'm going to try to get through the entire "Jillie Collection" on your YouTube channel! :) She is such a delight to watch! She and Jenna seem alike in a lot of ways. |

Ohh Emm Geee! How freaking adorable is Jillie! I will now go and stalk her on youtube!! Is she your next great hope for agility!? She's certainly got the heart for it!! |

Dig down in my YouTube vids and you'll find some Eddie agility. He had one great summer in 2009 before hurting his leg in the snow and temporarily, at least, retiring. I sent you a few e-mails but lost touch. Jillie showed great potential but I found out she has LP, so we've backed off training. Seeing a specialist tomorrow on her prospects for continuing. No pain or immobility yet, but I'm afraid of making it worse. |
