Bailey 15 weeks doing tricks
 
I thought I would do a video of my Bailey doing a few tricks, It was difficult for me to take the video and guide Bailey at the same time..I'm not very co-ordinated:D

Darlene great job!!!!!!:D Bailey is so cute and smart too. I thought Skyler was too young to hold his attention that long but maybe I'll give it a try.

Thanks! Bailey learned at about 12 weeks, so I think little Skyler will learn very quickly too!

No his attention seems very short. Also I think when you have more than one dog they focus more on them and less on you. I try to have one on one time with all of them but with four it gets hard sometimes.:)

That is so true! When Bailey is around my BF's two dog, he can't be bothered by me half as much:rolleyes:

I was just watching my 8 wk old pups playing and they're so hyper how do you train that young?
I've always started training mine @ 5 mos

They can sit, go down, dance, roll over, give paw, wave bye bye and fetch but can't seem to get the bang bang one lol

After watching this I think I'll start training pups. It would be fun for them to know some tricks before they go to forever home.

Haha! Bailey is super hyper, when I first thought of teaching him tricks I didn't think it would be possible because of that, but it turns out he loves cheerios which I use for treats, and learned fairly quickly!:D

I had Bailey lie down first, then I would take the treat and slowly take it toward his back behind his head so he would have to go on his side to follow the treat, as he went on his side I would say "bang bang" and then give him the treat, it was easier then I thought it would be. Also if you search "how to teach a dog tricks" on Youtube there are helpful videos there too:) Good luck!

Wow! I'm impressed! Very smart dog, but even smarter and dedicated human to teach such a young puppy those tricks! :bravo:
