Our Sweet Megan YT Meet Up 2009
 
I took quite a few pictures and will try to post them as soon as possible, but I had my treatment yesterday so I am suffering from " Chemo Brain" and it is a bit difficult. Please bear with me .....

Until then please enjoy this beautiful video of our VERY sweet Megan.
It was pure heaven to meet her and her mother and trust me when I say that she is exactly as she is online, pure, beautiful and very, very special.

Please excuse the shaking ... I was crying through the entire song.

Janie, so many feelings I'm having right now -- thank you so very much for posting the video I, too cried through the entire performance. That young lady is incredibly talented.

I will keep you close to my :love: and in my :hands: and pray for comfort for you.

Janie, thanks for posting this! She really did a beautiful job singing that song! She has a beautiful voice and is a very beautiful, sweet girl! It was a pleasure to meet her.:D I also loved having the pleasure to meet you and your husband and sharing that special last nite with you both as well as Patty and her daughter and granddaughters and Cory. I am keeping you in my prayers Janie~;)

Is was what I was wanting to see the most from the meetup. I just love Megan so much, she's so incredibly sweet, wise beyond her years and silly too, I always enjoy chatting with her because I know I'm going to be laughing till I cry. I love hearing her sing, she's very talented and I hope she goes far.

Megan, I know your parents must be so proud of you and I only hope that I can raise Amelia to be half the girl you are and then I couldn't be more proud of her. :hug:

Janie, the video is beautiful! Megan did such an incredible job and she really is an amazing young lady. Thank you for posting it. I felt like such a goof when I realized we were at the dinner without camera or video.

I'm sending prayers :hands:and hugs :love-hug3your way. I didn't get to spend much time getting to know you and your husband this past weekend, but your kindness sweet nature just radiated from you.

This might have been my favorite part of the meetup! There was a lot of chit-chat going on as the intro played, but as soon as Megan started singing, everyone went silent. I had heard Megan sing on videos before, but in person you get a better sense of the strength and range of her voice. It was a beautiful moment. Obviously, in addition to her natural ability, you can tell that she has had training. Beautiful phrasing.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Thank you Janie for posting Megan's performance. I was so happy to see I can enjoy it over and over now. We didn't have our camcorder with us at dinner-:(

As much as I enjoyed seeing/hearing her singing again, hearing her live and in person was just absolutely wonderful! Thank you Megan for sharing your gift with us that night!

I don't know what's the matter but video that is posted on YouTube won't play decently. It keeps stopping and has the little circling thingy in the center. Can't even listen to Megan sing. Keeps starting and stopping. UGH! Anyone have an idea how I can correct this? I do so want to listen to Megan sing. ~Joanne~

Well, I clicked on 'high quality' and then I was able to watch and listen. Megan you have a wonderful voice. Glad you are part of YT. ~Joanne~

Thank you for posting this Janie. I also took video, but like a dufus when I was trying to download, erased some and Megan and Mike were among those erased!!!!!

Megan is such an incredible young lady!!!!! I always thought she was special, but meeting her just solidified this!!!!! She is very talented as well and I, too was moved to tears with her performance!!!!!!

Joanne, that's what Megan sounded like -- stopping and starting. I think she calls her style Rap Show Tunes :p

nah, slower connections can do that. Best thing to do is don't try to play it on this thread. Click on the youtube bar at top. When the video opens on youtube, don't hit play. Walk away from your computer for 5 minutes and let it load. Then hit play.

Whew! I thought I'd lost the audio on Megan's song, but I did some emergency repair work and I think I was able to re-capture her fine singing. What do you think?

Thank-you for posting this........ I wasn't able to attend, and was hoping someone would have a clip of Megan!!! Her voice is very pretty...... and I LOVE the way she can TOTALLY change the sound of her voice to a raw baritone sound (thank-you Mike! :D )
