Shaunna, Missy is the cutes Yorkie...You are such a great mom. Look how happy she is running around....I also love the way you dress her..

Left lateral condyle here! It's a very common break (at least our specialist has seen a lot), but on such weenies is the challenge! I don't know how it compares, but I paid 2.5k sterling (on a holiday weekend) for Belle's surgery. I'd also pay again in a heartbeat! She was walking normally on a lead by day 4 post op - I am more devastated it happened in the first place. She developed an infection and got lame this week, but we are working on that with antibiotics. Downside is that she has to almost certainly get the metalwork taken out because of that...we will see in 2 weeks. I'm really chuffed your little one has such good results - I hope ours are as good. :thumbup::thumbup:

I don't mind you asking at all. I get asked that question alot. It is an awful lot of money to repair a broken leg. People don't understand why it didn't just need a cast. Here's a picture to show how she broke it. It was actually fractured in two areas. That is why it's a trickier surgery to do. :)

Yeah Missy you sure can run fast! When these babies need surgery and we hear what it's going to cost we can remember this video of Missy running. It's worth every penny to see your baby run again. Piper had surgery for Legg Perthes in December and now she too is running.

What a sweetheart! I also love it when their hair just 'swooshes' around when they run. So glad she is doing so well. :D
