Here's a vid from Eddie's first agility trial. He entered the novice skilled class, so he only had to jump 4". He also entered a weaver's class but I don't have that video yet.

Boy, watching it, I can see what Hollywood actors say about the camera adding 20 pounds! Only seems to work on humans, though, not Yorkies. ;)

Wow, I am impressed. Eddie is one seriously smart little guy. He did great, you must be proud. I can only imagine the practice it must take to train him. Watching Eddie go made me feel like a bad mommy, Kass barely knows sit.

What an accomplishment!!!....... Maybe the times weren't enough to place you with a ribbon or reward, BUT it looks like the 2 of you really enjoy this!!!....... All the excitement of trial day, meeting people, AND for Eddie....... showing off!! (who can resist a YORKIE with that much talent!!!!! :) ) Keep it up Mike and Eddie....... looks like a LOT of fun!!!!! The video was great.....TY!

Mike and Eddie....just watching the 2 of you brings tears to my eyes....Eddie you are one special guy....and trainer is too.....you both bring so much joy to so many people!!!! Way to go!!! I'm sure Jack is in heaven rooting you on...he's proud too:aimeeyork:congrats::congrats:

Look at that little Yorkie go!!! Amazing and look how fast he went through those tunnels. For a minute there I lost track of him..lol.

haha I also wanted to add that I feel like I am somewhat of a stalker b/c I watched a ton of your videos. I was VERY impressed with the one of Eddie and his obedience and tricks. His listened and watched your EVERY move. How in the world?! Mine will only do that when they want to... I am very impressed!

Aww, thanks, my overpromoted Yorkie is blushing. My secret: There's a fine line between obedience and begging. Eddie knows who's packing the treats! ;)

Here's Eddie in his X-pen at the trial, with the spoils from his efforts. Four blue ribbons for being fastest in his division in 4 of 5 races, and the extra ribbon for his one Q. He also won a toy for that. Only 4 dogs in his division max, but a win's a win!

His only setback was in his last run of the second day. He was the very last dog to run for the weekend. I could tell he was pretty tired and had a hard time getting him up to the line and ready to go. He nevertheless started off OK and ran through the first two tunnels. Then his mind wandered and his gaze fell upon his mama on the sidelines videotaping. He made a beeline for her and safety.

I figured he was letting me know enough was enough. I had no problem with that. He far exceeded my expectations for the weekend. I actually expected him to pull that stunt every time!

OMG that's funny..yup Eddie was pooped..hey he's a little Yorkie and he knew he would be safe in Mommy's arms. ;)

Congrats Mike and Kelly and, of course, Eddie..what an amazing job you did and this your very first time..amazing.:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:
