we had a Rat Terrier with really short hair. Anyway he always does the same as, gracie.. it surely funny

This is what we call rubbing the stink off. To us she smells awesome to her we think she dose not like it. As soon as we towel her off we tell her go rub your stink off now. Bailey also does this after I mist her hair during brushing time. So much for making her look nice and pretty...lol.

Hi:
When I put my little one out on the patio to shake off the worst of the water she would first rub against the house wall and then the patio concrete, until I grabbed her to stop her!!! She would then do the same dance as yours on the carpet inside, but would transfer to a large towel afterwards. (A much better idea!) She really enjoyed the drying trip as well as the hair drier. Also I had to re-cover my sofa as it had a dark strip all around where she would dry off her head & ears??? LOL
These dogs sure are funny sometimes.:aimeeyork

Both my Yorkies do it and my Shih Tzu used to do this too! So funny to watch. Its like they want to get dry and get every bit of smell good off!!

My Dachsie does it too! It really does seem like there is something in the shampoo that gives them energy. After baths Casey and Peanut would chase each other around the house barking and jumping and trying to rub "that smelly stuff" off.

My 10 week old Yorkie does this as well, my Lhasa-Apso also does this but he also sprints all over the house. lol It's so funny to watch. Right now we go through this every night as it is very wet from snow melting so very dirty out right now so I am bathing at least twice a day. :)

toooooo Funny!:p Enjoyed watching!!! Yes, Bella does this too. She knows the routine. After bath, I lay this huge beach towel on the floor & she runs & runs, finally diving onto the towel to do the ritual.:D I'm quite amazed that then she will actually follow me back into the bathroom to blow dry her.:rolleyes: She doesn't mind the blow dryer at all. Just the bath part!!!:eek:

YES!!! They run so fast through the house. It is so cute! They even keep it up after I dry them!
